93 reviewsConvenient laundry... friendly and efficient staff. Some machines are new others a little less but they work effectively. Cost: 4.50 dollars for the small washer, 6 for the large one. Drying goes to minutes 2 dollars 20'. Top.
The only place nearby with 60 lb washers (read large comforters) and wonderful ambiance. A New Spin makes a trip to the laundrymat an enjoyable experience they have nice seats and large windows for people watching plus a/c and WiFi. It is just in my opinion a bit expensive (but cheaper than drop off/ pick up service)
From out of town for a week, and needed laundry service.
Had some cash, but you need two single $1 bills to buy not only their whatever …
Rude staff. I brought my laundry there a few times and every time the young male has been rude. The last time I paid for them to wash and fold my clothes he had washed my clothes and threw them in wet.
Never going back.
Hi Enes,
We have had some recent staff changes and continue to work to improve any customer service issues. Please don't hesitate to call us at the management office, 617-523-2333.
Staff were about as helpful as wet cardboard, and quite rude. The money card systems were ok, the only money card system that accepts debit/credit is finicky and doesn't read the money card most of the time, bring cash for the other money card machine which is less temperamental; side-note there isn't a money changer machine, but just a block away is the Bank of America Financial Center branch, with full service ATMs. The machines are varied in size and quite efficient, my oversized blanket fit easily into the washing machine and dryer that I chose, and only took a little under an hour before I was done. Not sure if I'll return or not.
Hi Johnathan,
We have recently updated our money card loading system, and have some new staff, as opposed to when you left this comment. We would appreciate hearing from you again if you choose to revisit us. Thank you
This is a review for my fellow neurodivergents who suffer from anxiety.
It’s a little more expensive than I’m used to, but it was quick. The facility is reasonably clean, though several of the machines were broken. You can tell which ones don’t work, even if they lack proper signage. Although, even the ones that did work had some quirks; had to pull up on the washer door to get it to close, and hold the dryer door shut while pressing start to get the door to lock. The machines operate on in-house, refillable cards that can be acquired via debit/credit/cash from a kiosk on the wall (right at the desk, then around the corner to the left). It’s very flat. Almost missed it. If you hit the drink machine, you’ve gone too far. When I went in there, the kiosk was devoid of cards. Fun fact: people leave cards on top of the detergent dispenser (if I’m remembering it correctly), which is the first machine on the wall to the right of the desk. Check the balance on the kiosk. You might be lucky enough to grab one that still has money left on it. There are chairs inside that are separated by tables, and plenty of little shops along the street to peruse while you wait. I opted to go to the Pink Carrot for some breakfast, which was reasonably priced for a healthy food option. This is probably one of the first laundromats I’ve felt safe leaving my clothes alone to do their thing. Most of the other patrons seemed to be women, and they were all very sweet/helpful. This is probably going to be my go-to whenever I’m in this part of Boston. Cute little place.
Wash - Used 22lb machine (took carry-on sized bag full of rolled up clothes). Cost $4.50 and took 24 minutes.
Dry - $2.00/20 minutes + $.50 for additional 5 minute increments. All of my clothes were completely dry, with the exception of my zip-up sweatshirt, in one go.I had several pairs of jeans, t-shirts, and undergarments.
A little pricey and you have to buy a money card in order to use their machines. The lady behind the counter was rude and acted like it was the biggest burden to help me get a card.
Bring cash!!! Decent laundromat. You have to buy a $2 card - CASH ONLY Then you can add value to the card. Using credit card it has a minimum of $10. Cash you can load the value of bills - no change returned, no coins.
Small washer $3.75, medium $5.25.
Dryers $1.25 and up.
Hi, our card systems have been updated within the last year, so cash is no longer needed to buy laundromat cards. Thank you!
Nice and clean laundry mat.
Walked in with my son and haven’t experienced worse customer service. The guy was rude, arrogant and dismissive. We promptly walked out!
We’ve absolutely loved Boston so won’t let this moron spoil our memories!
