Hands down the best laundry experience I have ever had! The owner(?) was incredibly kind and helpful, holding the door open for me, showing me how to get the best bang for my buck and encouraging me to seek him out if I'm not satisfied with my experience or wash! The business was very clean, safe and machines were top quality, easy to use and could wash an incredible amount of loads at once for a reasonable price! The free wifi and well situated corner store and bar knocks this place out of the park! I couldn't be happier with my experience at Belmont Eco Laundry and will make it my one and only stop for my quarterly blanket, comforter and dog bed washing marathon!
I had a really great experience here! It was my first time at a laundromat and my first time washing a comforter, so I had to consult one of the workers. She was SO SWEET and walked me through the entire process. She even lended me some more dryer balls because I didn't bring enough. I left with clean comforters that weren't lumpy and were fully dry. It was really fast, too!
The machines work fine, the help is courteous and helpful but ....
I went in on 12/18 and used two washers for $10.25 each and two dryers for @ 6 minutes for $0.25 each. My total charges for this visit were over $75.00. I used 'tap to pay' and for the life of me I cannot believe even I can screw things up that bad. Next time in I will have attendant help me but this some damn expensive laundry and it should not have happened. Update. changed rating to five stars because management reached out to me and offered to make me well for the overcharges. Turns out that the tap to pay is very touchy.
Hello, sorry for the negative experience at our laundromat. In total, based on what you describe, you should have spent $20.50 on your two washers and then, because our machines spin out so well, you probably only would have needed about $1.25 on each dryer to fully dry your clothes bringing your total to $23.00. My guess is maybe you held the card for too long against our washers and it charged you too many times since it really only needs a brief tap to pay? If that's the case, please bring in your bank statement in about 3-5 business days (which is when the charges clear for the actual amounts). If it shows you were overcharged as much as you said in your review, we would be more than happy to rectify the situation.

Clean place! Easy to use machines that take debit cards and coins! They keep the machines clean too, and I really appreciate that!

Worst laundry establishment in Portland. I shall never return. The only reason I went was because our new washer needs a little repairing. The employees there had what looked like 1000 sheets from a hotel they were washing, thus making all the customers wait. What the hell? NEVER going back!
We are sorry you had a negative experience at our store. For wash and fold orders, our attendants usually only use three washers (out of around 18) and 4 of the smallest sized dryers throughout the day to complete orders. This issue will also be alleviated more when all of the brand-new equipment is installed at this location as well which will increase the overall number of machines available in store.

i dont like to complain but 10$ wash that wasnt clean spent over 30$ on a load and couldnt even use the bathroom got told i need to leave my bag out side the bathroom or they cant unlock it my laptop needed to wait for me outside while i used the bathroom and i brought my laundry on my e bike so not like i had to much for one load and 30$ didnt do it
Sorry you had a negative experience at our laundromat. It sounds like you didn't have too big of a load to wash so, for a two basket load, our cheapest machine is $4.25 for a Quick Wash. Our brand new machines clean incredibly efficiently and spin out better than our competitors so that items are basically almost dry when they come out of the washer. For drying, you probably only would have spent $1 which would have put your total spending at just $5.25. Even if you used our biggest machine to wash your small load and dried the necessary amount of time, it would have only cost $13.25 for the washer and $1 for the dryer ($14.25 in total). We do not charge customers $30 or more for one load.
As for our bathrooms, unfortunately we have to have it locked and have a policy with bags as we have had many issues with transients coming in and vandalizing/destroying our bathroom or using drugs in it. This especially happens when we allow some people to bring in their bags with them inside the bathroom. Since we are a fully attended laundromat, being able to use the restroom is easy, our facility is the cleanest to other competitors, and our attendants are there on standby to help with any issues and make sure the location stays safe.
