100 reviewsThis is the one my hotel recommended. They were professional and did a good job. I used the wash and fold service.
When it came time to dry my clothes there were no dryers open. If you are on a time limit don't go here. Both staff members I spoke to were rude to me. Washland on 10th avenue was better. Also, the owner offered to dry clothes for some wealthy guys who were waiting. I don't recommend this place...but they do allow dogs.
I visited during the morning opening hours, and the staff was friendly and easy to use. It was easy to get to from a nearby hotel, so I was able to get my laundry done at a reasonable price.
Two full bags done in one day for $15. Folded and wrapped in plastic and smell fresh and nice. No complaints been using it for weeks.
This is a coin-operated laundry.
If you're staying nearby, this is a great place to do a quick laundry. The staff is friendly.
All machines only accept 25 cents, and you can exchange bills with the staff.
The smallest washer costs $5/25 minutes, and the dryer costs 25 cents/6 minutes.
My go to laundromat. Solid prices for same day service. Clothes were folded perfectly and organized!
Reasonable price, easy to use, humans provide the coins, fast and clean!
Great little place. Here on business easy and staff friendly and helpful. Hotel wanted 100.00 got it done in 6.00
The good thing about BKM Laundromat is that it is quite convenient for me, being located just a block below Port Authority Bus Terminal. The washing machines and the dryers are highly efficient. The cost? Well it's Manhattan; what can you say? There are however, also a number of drawbacks. First and foremost, this place is plainly and simply way too small for its' own good. With just 18 active public washers (and 8 more either reserved for wash and fold use, or broken), and this place being high volume, even at 2 on a weekday afternoon, when really no one should be in there, I had to wait first, five minutes to get to doing my wash. Then came the much larger annoyance, having to wait nearly fifteen minutes to then dry my clothes. The reason why? With 18 washers, they only have a paltry 12 dryers to handle 18 small and large wash loads. And anyone who has been in a laundry knows it doesn't take like ten minutes to finish drying; it takes considerably longer. So while my normal time spent in the laundromat should be about 45-50 minutes with a couple of items as I do, here I end up clocking in at nearly an hour and a quarter. Thank God this isn't my regular laundromat. It's honestly a surprise more tempers aren't lost here.
