I don’t like writing bad reviews, but I think with this specific establishment the owner reads the reviews and takes them into consideration, so the purpose of my post is to bring this to his attention.
I usually like coming to this laundromat because they have the big 80 pound washers, it’s a big laundromat, and you can pay via the app. I also come to this laundromat because the owner is Muslim and gives back to the community, so that’s where I prefer to put my money; bc those are the people whose business I would love to see flourish. But lately I’ve been having less than pleasant experiences that are deterring me away from this place…especially because there’s another laundromat the same distance from my house with 80 pound washers and an easy payment system/cash and coins not required …(AND they’re 24/7 and have free extra rinses).
Anyway. Today I called around 8:00 to make sure they were open and not running on a holiday schedule. I asked what time the last wash would be, and I was told 10:00 and I could come in anytime from now until then.
So since I have a small two seater compact car, I usually order an uber to go to the laundromat to fit my clothes. I get there and as I’m loading my clothes into the rolling cart to go in, an attendee tells me they’re closed. I take out my phone and show him the time, and tell him that last wash is 10:00 and it’s 9:46. He said no, they’re closed anyway. I go inside anyway and another attendee (woman) tells me the same and I tell her that’s ridiculous because I called before coming, paid my uber, and went through the trouble of leaving my house post-blizzard with black ice everywhere, carrying my laundry—and so I will do my laundry. She starts cursing in Spanish and talking about me /mocking me under her breath.
So I loaded my washers, and now I’m sitting and typing this review and it’s only 10:25. My washers were all loaded and started running a good 15-20 minutes ago. I don’t understand what the issue is. If you close at 11:00, and last wash is 10:00, then why turn people away especially if you already confirmed over the phone?
This isn’t the only experience that left a bad taste in my mouth but I’ll make sure it’s the last. I’d rather not deal with bull shhhh every time I need to do my laundry. It’s just unfortunate because I truly liked this place.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, and I'm genuinely sorry for what happened. You're absolutely right - this isn't acceptable, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

First, I sincerely apologize that you called ahead to confirm our hours, were told you could come anytime until 10:00 for last wash, and then were turned away when you arrived at 9:46. That's a complete failure on our part. You did everything right - you called, you confirmed, you paid for an Uber in dangerous post-blizzard conditions - and we let you down.

What happened next is even worse, and I'm deeply sorry for it. The cursing and mocking you experienced from our staff member is completely unacceptable. No one should ever feel disrespected or talked about in our laundromat, in any language. This behavior doesn't reflect our values, and I will be addressing this directly with our team.

I'm especially troubled by this because you've been a loyal customer who has specifically chosen to support our business because of our commitment to the community. That means everything to me, and it makes this situation even more disappointing. You deserve so much better than what you experienced.

I know you have other options - including a 24/7 laundromat just as close - and I don't take your business for granted. If you're willing to give us another chance, I'd love the opportunity to make this right. Please reach out to me directly so I can address this with you personally.

Great location ! Very clean and spacious so you don’t feel overwhelmed or cramped . There are lots of washing machines which is great so you don’t have a wait . The people who work there are so helpful.

Nice and clean. I just feel like you have to put too many extra quarters in the dryers to dry your clothes.
