UPDATE 5/27/25: This is in response to the manager’s comment on my review. The response makes no sense, as the laundry shelves were virtually empty when I went to pick up. I’m not sure how charging someone $90 on undisclosed late fees is equivalent to “five star service.” I see they decided to make another reference to the microscopic sign in order to lie about it being “in clear view.” You want people to see it? PUT IT ON THE COUNTER and not in the corner on the faraway back wall. Or, perhaps TELL THE CUSTOMER about the exorbitant fees at drop off to ensure they are aware. The sign is small and poorly placed for a reason. It isn’t on the receipt for a reason. They don’t tell you about for a reason. They are trying to screw you over, and they eventually will if you give them your business!

I originally liked this place because it is cheap for wash-and-fold, but as of today I discovered that they charge exorbitant late fees and hold your laundry hostage. They say nothing about the fees then try to get you after the fact. Upon pickup, an overweight girl at the counter responded to my frustration by pointing to a 8x10 handwritten sign in the back wall, a wall which is packed with merchandise, making the sign not clearly visible or easy to see. After mentioning this to her and proceeding to walk out, I turn around to see her smiling as if she was repressing laughter. Extortion and unethical business practices are not funny. These people were literally refusing to return my laundry to me for about 15 minutes until they finally got it through their skulls that I would not be leaving without it and I would not be paying a late fee of over $90. No verbal communication was given to me about late fees at the time of drop off, there is nothing on the receipt notifying the person about late fees, and I did not sign anything agreeing to pay late fees. And the microscopic sign was not pointed out. I now see how they make their money. Lost my business for life when I had previously rated them 5 stars. Don’t come here.
