I wish the owner would just sell this place its a mess today its so gross half the little washers had standing dirty water in them only one big one works Ive lost so much money here One day a guy was there said he get me my money and he never came back this place needs to close its so old its an eye sore in the neighborhood but why sell when you can get tons of money that people lose every single day It was half decent back in the 90s when there was someone there but now it needs to go.

Washers were operational but some of the dryers didn't latch closed and one didn't have heat (bottom, far left I believe). There is no bathroom and none of the businesses nearby have a public restroom. The seating could use a steam clean as well.

I have posted reviews for this Laundromat before but WOW HAS THIS PLACE GONE DOWNHILL!!!! Some background: my car is broke down so I have to find a sitter and borrow a car to do laundry and I go here because it's literally right by my house. To start with The ATM was out of order, BOTH change machines were out of order so I had to go to the liquor store down the street use their ATM and thankfully they took pity on me and let me buy rolls of quarters from them.

Then I go back into the laundromat and a woman doing laundry informed me 3 out of the 4 large capacity washers are not working. So I loaded the one that was "in working order" and out my change in. However when I pressed "Whites" it flashed $5.00 over and over so basically it stole $5.00 from me.

So I switch to the front loaders (which have gone up to $1.50/load which is the HIGHEST I've seen at any Laundromat around Grand Rapids. Out of the 4 I used, 2 of them ripped me off 0.50 each AND I had to hand wring my clothes out because the spin cycle either never kicked in or did nothing.

Thankfully the woman and the man doing laundry there as well advised me to only out 1 quarter in a dryer at a time because half of them just blow cold air. Which is what I did with the dryers until I found 4 working ones.

I have no idea what happen to this place but it was bad enough that they do not have a public restroom (even though they have a sound system) but after ALL of these issues I will not be returning unless some major changes are done and I have been doing my laundry here for 5+ years but never again!!

I use this place twice a week. Very friendly, low prices and never very busy.

The second time I have been here and left with wet clothes. Spent more money than I would have at the attended laundromat where I usually go, so I’m not sure there’s any benefit to the customer by the owner not paying someone to be there. The machines are most definitely not cheaper. Not a terrible choice if you live close but make sure your dryer is heating and know that it is unattended and not the cleanest.

Do not come in here to do laundry. I walked in for 5 minutes and walked out with fleas on me. Not only that but I believe there is an adult foster care home across the street and the adult fosters are constantly loitering inside and outside of the Laundromat (drinking beer inside/outside and constantly asking for change). I would not be surprised if they also steal clothes.

Place should be shut down... washers with standing water in them front 5 washers leaking all over the floor the one I used didn't spin all the water out or rinse the soap out, dryers take your coins but dont spin NO AC!!

Literally disgusting. The entire place was a mess and look like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. A real sketchy guy who was clearly high on something wandered in and kept asking me to use my cellphone to look stuff up and wouldn't leave me alone. Will absolutely never go back. Hillside Coin Laundry around the corner is much cleaner and safer.
