has really good prices; but the lack of outlets and wifi really make this less worth the commute. While I do prefer this to a lot of places in Madison, it really makes it hard to justify when I can't work on anything while waiting for laundry. honestly adding a public wifi would be all that's needed

No staff of any kind inside. I wanted to exchange a 10 for a 2: 5's but could not do so. Also a man was stealing other people's clothes and could not report him to staff. Dryer dries to hot, delicate dried my clothes in 15 minutes when it should've been .ore like 30. Not a good laundry mat.

We have staff on-site during the week. They work extremely hard during the week, so we give them the weekends off to enjoy their families.

The issue of people taking clothes is very concerning to us. The best way to handle is through a direct phone call vs a Google review. But since that was your choice of communication. I have a few thoughts:

It is the customer's responsibility to keep track and watch their laundry and personal items.
If a customer's clothes are "missing" we will work with them to review our security videos and try an determine what happened. Lots of possible causes, forgotten loads in machines, other customers mistakenly moving a load...
If there is actual theft of items and we have video confirmation of the theft, the customer can contact Madison PD to report the theft and we will provide the video evidence to Madison PD.
The best rule to live by is stay with your laundry and keep an eye on it.

The dryer working "too fast" seems like an odd comment, our washers spin out most of the water and if you have a light item our dryers will dry fairly fast. Most customers enjoy a shorter dry and less time doing laundry.

I'm giving the East-West laundry five stars because they have the best prices I've seen. The washing machines were a dollar, however, for a $1.25 you get a super 45 minute wash!

I put a dollar in the dryer and I got 40 minutes : )

The woman working there ,(maybe she's the owner?), Was very nice. The washroom was large and clean and they also have a large parking lot.

Peter, thanks for the great review!
Our staff is the best.
We’ll try to keep our prices low but inflation is taking its toll on all of us.
We may need to go to one or two “dollar Wash” days vs Monday thur Friday.
