So nice to have a neighborhood pet store, especially for those last minute needs. Don’t get your hopes up though, Google says they close at 8pm but here I am at 7:24 with the doors locked. Lights on, two employees standing there in the window to tell me they’re closed. Before it even hit 7:30 3 other customers were turned away in the same manner.

I only recently started shopping here because they are one of the few local shops who carry the specific kibble our newest four-legged family member eats. They offer it at a cheaper price than other local and online retailers. On top of that, they offer amazing coupons for those signed up for their rewards program. For a small shop, their prices on their products are comparable and sometimes cheaper than other larger stores. When I'm in the area, I'll stop in on a whim to see what they have on sale or clearance, and I always walk out with something in hand. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful, never pressuring or forceful, you feel comfortable and at ease.

The grape treat toy was the best find for us. We wanted a treat toy with a kibble-sized opening. All of the treat toys we found had big openings that wouldn't work. This was in their clearance section, again when I stopped on a whim. Was so happy to find it, and Winnie is having a great time with it.

I used to go to the store before it was wag n wash and if it's the same groomer. Yes, she does a very good job. Recently I went and bought items that were on clearance due to the fact I'm selling some puppies. I got them at marked down Prices and then another 50% was marked down. When I got home there was a discrepancy in the bill of 5 to $8. I returned to the store and was told that this is how their system in their Computer Works and the prices were correct. And nothing would be done. I'm very disappointed in this store. For lack of customer appreciation and will not be going there again.

I visit the Saco Wag n Wash quite often. It’s well stocked and the associates are knowledgeable. There’s a dog and cat food sample rack. I tried a sample of Farmina a dog food brand they carry. My dog loved it (the adult kibble is larger). It’s a good quality dog food. They didn’t have that particular flavor but Evelyn ordered it for me and it was in store in less than a week. She also recommended another in stock flavor that my dog also liked. I would not have tried the Farmina brand without her guidance. Thank you Evelyn!
