This place is my go to. After trying a lot of different facilities, I finally found this place. I appreciate owners dedication and superb customer service. The facility is sparkling clean and I feel safe using this laundromat!

I had a horrible experience at this laundromat last Saturday. I brought in 8 small loads of laundry, 3 loads did not go in a dryer, yet I paid over $90.00 for those 8 small loads. That same amount of laundry costs $55.00 to clean and dry at another laundromat in the area.

I had to wipe clean the glass and rubber on all the washers I used with Clorox wipes I had in my car. The glass and seals were covered in dirt, lint, hair, and mold.

The washers cost $2.00 more per load than other laundromats, but the real scam is the dryers that cost $1.70 for 15 minutes but 1. it's not really 15 minutes because the dryers stop for 5 seconds every 30 seconds (I recorded it; total time not drying 2.5 minutes) and 2. they don't ever get hot even on "high." Five, thin towels took four dry cycles at $1.70 each cycle and I still left with wet towels and other items because I was ill from feeding $1.70 into dryers that didn't dry anything in a reasonable time.

Over $90.00 for 8 loads of laundry, only 5 loads dried, is absolutely obscene and the owners only response was a $15.00 courtesy credit. I am a low-income student and the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS GASLIGHTING:
Their signs do show the cost of their washers and dryers, but four or more dry cycles at $1.70 per 12.5 minutes is OBSCENE. Their dryers do NOT get hot and it costs more to dry clothes thoroughly than it does to wash them in their overpriced washers. $15.00 for a load of self-service laundry is robbery even in NY.

They know I cleaned all of the washers I used because they have cameras. Why would I have wasted my time, energy, and Clorox wipes if the washers were clean?

This laundromat (and the delusional owners) is a scam.

10/10 recommend Gentle Wash! Employees are super friendly, facilities are clean and spacious. There are plenty of tables/chairs to use while waiting or for folding.

Update, I continue to use their pickup and delivery wash and fold service and it's great! Especially now that they have a website with booking online! Couldn't be easier!

There are many reasons why this place has been open for over 37 years. I am cheap, so I tried saving a few cents and tried 2 other laundromats in the area. Well…cheap person pays twice! I am back to Gentle Wash Laundromat!!! Lesson learned!
