If you care about your clothes, then go to this Laundromat! Very convenient, fast and easy drop-off service as others mentioned in their reviews already. In the past, the other Laundromats I used charged a fee for same day service, NOT THIS ONE! Staff is polite and definitely hard working – I do see it. They just redid the inside front of the store a bit and it looks fresh! I actually asked the owner for ideas for my apartment lol. I am glad the owners are meticulous about appearance of the store! I’ve been using Gentle Wash Laundromat and will continue to do so!

Worst laundromat in the East Village. The attendant will tell you there is hot water when in reality the hot wash is always cold. I suspect Boris, the owner, of skimping on the hot water because he believes his customers do not notice.

I’ve been using Gentle Wash Laundromat close to 5 years now and finally got a chance to put my thoughts on social media. They are one of the cleanest laundromat services I have used. I mostly use their pickup and delivery as well as wash and fold drop off service which works spot-less each time. I can text them and within minutes someone is by my doors picking up my laundry and sometimes dry cleaning. I used to use their self-service however and was a good experience for me since their machines are new and the facility is clean and kept in nice shape. They accept all types of contactless payments including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. I really do appreciate them for their honest and great work every time. I also appreciate them not raising their prices during these not so easy times. Gentle Wash is a trustworthy business and laundry on demand service and while I live in New York I will be their customer.

This is my favorite place in the city.
It’s location is convenient for me so that’s how I found them. More important the 3 or 4 ladies that usually help me are MARVELOUS! They work hard, they are kind and understanding. They never have lost anything (mistakes happen so even if they did their kindness & hard work would make up for it). They always have it ready when I need and willing to make it work if I need it sooner!

The best laundromat hands down! I’ve tried a few before landing at Gentle Wash Laundromat. The wash and fold drop off service is convenient and easy. Their pickup and delivery I use sometimes as well when I am short in time. Just schedule a pickup online and they show up literally at your door within 1 hour! Highly recommend!
