I was hesitant to use pickup and delivery service for wash and fold laundry service after my two not good experiences with other laundry services. Well, after using Gentle Wash Laundromat five times now, I can officially say that I am very pleased and thankful to the way they take care of my delicate clothes that are easy to shrink and easy to damage. Their prompt Text message to make appointment service works amazing and very detailed - actually works much better then scheduling appointment via app IMO. Prices are more then fair comparing to the quality I am getting every time. Thank you for your quality service you are giving to your customers during this not so easy times!

This laundromat recently switched from coin to card. The card costs $2, which can’t be returned for a refund, even though the card could be reused by someone else. Also, any money leftover on the card is non-refundable if you are moving, etc. This is a scam, don’t go to this laundromat

Avoid Gentle wash laundromat . I came in at 640pm to wash my nursing uniforms . the 2 ladies working there was rude and told me they were closed. I said the sign say 8pm on the door . They still did not allowed me to wash. Very poor customer service at this location. I do not recommend them.

Been using their pickup/drop off service for 3 years and they are incredible! Never had any issues, they’re super responsive over text, and our delivery guy was always so so so kind. We’re moving to a new place that has a W/D and we’re genuinely upset that we won’t use Gentle Wash as often (we’ll still use them for dry cleaning!).

Cannot recommend enough! Thank you so much for such an amazing service for the last few years 💕

This laundromat has been in the East Village for years, and all the women there are so incredibly nice. They keep the place so clean and the service is quick and efficient if you need to drop off your items. Whether you have to stay and get some work done, or are in a rush, it’s a clean safe environment that gets the job done

This laundromat is the BEST in the East Village! I tried several different laundromats when I first moved to the neighborhood 2 years ago and this one is the best by far!! I walk 6 blocks to get there and it's 100% worth it. It's very clean inside and the staff is incredibly friendly. There's plenty of space, tables and free wifi with plenty of machines if you want to stay and wait for your laundry to be done (it saved me in grad school) but now that I'm working full time, I've fallen in love with their wash and fold and delivery services.

Everything has been perfectly cleaned and taken care of every time. I've never lost any of my belongings and everything comes back nicely folded. It's so easy to schedule pick-up and drop-off times (through a text!). They even will hang dry items if they notice they're more delicate in your laundry bag. I'm so so happy with their service!
