3 reviewsDropped off wedding dress for a cleaning and repair. They said it was stained and unable to be repaired. Still charged us $400 and they didn’t return the hanger that came with the dress. Should have just used the neighborhood cleaner instead.
Hi Matt,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We weren’t able to locate any orders under your account and would love the opportunity to look into this further!
There are many factors involved in successful stain removal, and we always strive to be as transparent as possible. We also err on the side of caution, especially with delicate or special garments such as wedding gowns.
As part of our 100% satisfaction guarantee, we are happy to offer you a free redo. We would love the chance to take a second look and address your concerns. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience at contact@helenascleaners.com

Helena’s proves “You don’t have to be the most expensive, to be the best.” They start with the Customer Service, when they pick up my laundry and dry cleaning every week, and follow up by asking if I have any special requests or buttons service they might provide, either by text or email. I can follow my clothes from pick up to delivery.
Over the last 25 years I’ve lost a sock or two and I’m sure a neighbor has my laundry bag. Helena’s dry cleaning? I only have good things to say about them.
Clothing is my business and Helena’s, takes very good care of mine.
You’re amazing! Thanks for taking the time to leave us such an awesome review. High fives all around!
I have been a loyal customer of Helena’s for many years, but I will no longer be using their services. Recently, the quality has plummeted. They recently ruined several shirts that they had successfully cleaned many times before. To make matters worse, they’ve started arguing over the use of their own coupons and repeatedly fail to remove basic stains—then have the nerve to try and charge for a second cleaning to fix their own mistake. It’s disappointing to see a long-standing business treat a regular customer this way. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that you’ve been dissatisfied with your recent experience, especially as a long-time customer whom we sincerely appreciate.
We were not previously made aware of several shirts but we do have one item documented was the animal-print blouse, which was cleaned strictly according to the manufacturer’s care label. Unfortunately, in that case, the dye provided by the manufacturer did not withstand their own prescribed cleaning method. We communicated this to you as soon as it occurred and offered to assist with a manufacturer claim, but we did not hear back.
Regarding the promotion, it was intended for fully filled coats. The coat you sent in was partially filled, which initially caused confusion; however, once recognized, we promptly refunded the charge. We apologize for that error.
We strive to be transparent and fair in all situations, and we regret that this experience left you feeling otherwise. Your feedback is important to us, and we truly value the relationship we’ve built over the years. We would welcome the opportunity to better understand your concerns and see what we can do moving forward, should you be open to continuing the conversation.
