100 reviewsHad a bit of sticker shock when I first arrived (hadn't been to this laundromat in 3 years), but I did one load in a medium washer and 24 minutes in one dryer and was out the door for 9 bucks. Which was slightly less than the roll of …
Out in an hour which we think is pretty darn good for a chore many of us don't look forward to. Thanks for all the kind words.
Good machines, if expensive. Not no bathroom available. Never heard of such a thing for a Laundromat.
Ken - Thank you for taking the time to rate and comment on our store. I really appreciate it and thanks for mentioning the good machines. Lower ratings help us take a moment to see if there are things we can do better and also to help address questions and curiosities that many customers share
The bathroom thing is a good reminder for people; thanks for mentioning that.
We do NOT have bathrooms.
BUT with our good (great?!) machines, folks are done within an hour. The NEW machines in the BIG room have high speed extraction getting so much water out that drying time is greatly reduced. So, with washing AND drying, folks are done in less than an hour (for regular laundry).
It’s also nice to address pricing so thanks for bringing that up.
The value of a dollar is unique to every person. Believe it or not, some folks will spend $5.5 on a single slice of pizza. Only 4 hours of satisfaction there but the same $5.5 gets you a FULL WEEK of washed clean clothes (plus another $1 for drying)….168 hours of feeling clean and fresh; 168 hours of satisfaction vs 4.
Imagine spending $14.5 for a single burrito….a burrito!!!! Yup, people do it. That same $14.50 would wash FOUR loads of clothes PLUS get them dried! 4 Loads could be a whole MONTH for a single person.
We love our fast-food working brothers and sisters but a $14.50 burrito is in and out of your system in no time. It’s literally flushing $14.50 down the toilet.
We think we provide a VERY good value.
Here are a few more things we’d like all folks to consider about laundromat pricing in urban areas and ours specifically:
If your urban laundromat has a price less than our prices, pay attention to 1) the water levels and 2) the number of rinses. Water is very costly in the urban areas because it's not subsidized like 95% of the country. We have our water levels higher to ensure a solid, effective wash and provide TWO rinses on every machine. Cheaper laundromats cut the water level back and provide only one rinse.
We staff EVERY shift. This isn’t a mystery laundromat where you are concerned about who might be inside or around a corner. We’re CLEAN and we’re SAFE. OUR machines are cleaned inside and out multiple times a day (look at the soap trays…that’s the giveaway…and if you find one that we haven’t caught yet, we’ll clean it!).
Our machines are maintained. If one’s temporarily down for service there’s a sign. No guessing if a washer or dryer will work. No mystery. And if you’re the unlucky one when a machine fails, we have a person ON SITE to make it right.
You’ll also notice there are very few laundromats in Seattle. They’re difficult to make pencil but we’re proud we’ve been able to maintain our store for folks who really need it.
Thanks again for taking the time to visit us and to leave a review.

Overall, I' say this is an Acceptable place to get your clothes clean. I went at night on a whim. Upfront, just be aware that laundry doesn't cost like 4 dollars a load anymore, anywhere, or very rarely anyway. This is Seattle, you better …
This is embarrassing – we’re replying to this post 1.5 years after it was written and what makes it even worse is that delay just reinforces a very fair comment in the post….we missed an opportunity to engage in a timely manner! Anne – … More
Thank you very much for the rating Filiberto.

Parking was the main reason I chose this spot & they have roughly 6 or so spaces with street parking as well. The facility is very clean and well maintained, the gal working is also very nice. My major shock here was the price - the 3 load washers are 13.50$. I travel and so far the most I’ve ever seen these go for is 10$ but when you need to do a bunch of laundry - you just do it haha my only other note is the coin machine gives quarters & dollar coins & while that could be nice, the washer (I used) only took quarters so that seems a bit odd. Happy washing!
Kristina - thank you so much for the 4 stars and the kind review and comments. Those $13 machines are called the BIG machines and we think they'll hold 3-4 loads and are known as "40 pound" machines meaning they hold 40 pounds of dry laundry. That's a boat load!
Thanks for mentioning the Dollar Coins....we find they much easier to work with. EVERY washer and dryer should accept BOTH the quarters and the dollar coins. The machines that have a SINGLE slot have "smart" readers that should distinguish which coin is inserted. The older machines have a separate slot for each size. (The soap vend however is limited to the dollar coin or can be purchased from the office)
We're ALWAYS attended so if a coin slot is not working, please bring it to the attention of the attendant so we can get things fixed.

I really like this laundromat. Mainly because from the parking lot you can see the washers and dryers. So instead of sitting inside the entire time bored you can sit in your car, read a book and/or listen to music while you are waiting for …
