I LOVE Jane Laundromat!!!

First, I've been pleased with their service in the past, but the service that Jane offered during the havoc of Sandy was unbelievable!

Even without power, they came in and opened their doors for customers. For many of us staying at friends around the City and others staying at home may have had their laundry at Jane and it was open for people to pick up their clothes at a time where most of the area was completely dead.

I was staying with friends around the city, and came home each day to ensure everything was safe and sound and to switch out clothing. I noticed that Jane was open for drop off and walked in and asked how they were managing. The owner told me that they've developed a partnership to have the laundry cleaned in Brooklyn and brought back to Jane next day.

A measure of anyone / anything is not how well one does when things are normal, but how one deals in the stressful time. Jane exceeds my expectations.

This place is amazing!! I was pretty hesitant about sending out my laundry but I walked in here on a Saturday at noon and they told me my laundry could be ready that day! I went to pick up the items and not a single thing was missing and everything was handled with care and looked so clean. They take the time to ask for specific instructions for any items (e.g. air dry) and are very diligent. It’s also a mom and pop shop!! They also offer pick up and delivery for $3 RT in certain areas. Couldn’t recommend a place more!!

After getting stuck in NY with a suitcase full of dirty clothes due to flight delays, this place was heaven-sent. They were kind, did an amazing job, and used fragrance free detergent as requested. Would definitely recommend.
