I have used this laundromat in the past and every time I come in I get bad vibes and looks. Last time we were here we encountered a rude attendant who was talking about us in her native language. Something about us using a washer that someone else wanted to use. It was very strange and petty. The attendant became afraid that I would report here to her boss so she basically forced me to hug her which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I pulled away and ensured her that I wouldn’t report her but that her attitude needed work. Against my better judgment I gave this place another chance tonight. This was a mistake. This time a strange attendant was working and proceeded to talk over me while I was explaining to her that I was waiting to use a washer that she was about to give to someone else. I had been there earlier and was waiting for a washer to become available. She said “ yeah ok” mid-sentence. I did not finish speaking so there was no way for her to understand what I was saying. She was very rude and seemed medicated. After the incident someone walked in and spoke to her which seemed to be her boyfriend and made my daughters and I even more uneasy. He brushed past me as if to intimidate me, not only that but the attendant was rude the whole time Ie were doing laundry. Most of the clientele are Muslim and my prior experiences doing laundry here, most have been unwelcoming. My intention is not to be racist/prejudice, but only to be honest. The experience felt very unwelcoming and extremely uncomfortable. I will not be returning here neither do I suggest anyone else. There are other laundromats that offer a lighter atmosphere and a more comfortable laundry experience.
