AVOID. Cold wash= $3.75, warm/hot = $4, big washer = $6.25. Dryer's a quarter for five mins. Dryer stopped halfway through and gave me an error message and i had to remove half my clothes for it to work. Still finished and my clothes were wet. Hot and humid in the room.

Edit: changes have been made, much more efficient than before.

We are visiting from out of town and happened on King Street Laundry by chance to do our laundry that had piled up. We did not realize we were in for such a pleasant surprise.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't your average laundromat. The space is impressively clean and well-maintained, with plenty of washers and dryers available.

What really sets this place apart is its thoughtful touches. They offer a convenient app for payment, perfect for those of us who never seem to have quarters on hand. The on-site library for both adults and kids, along with coloring supplies, transforms laundry day from a chore into an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

The staff deserves special mention - they're incredibly kind and go above and beyond to help customers. It's clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about the people they serve.

Perhaps most impressive is King Street Laundry's commitment to the community. Their mission to provide "equal access to the dignity of clean clothes" shows that this business is about more than just washing clothes - it's about making a positive impact on people's lives - and that’s exactly the type of business I prefer to patronize .

First I must thank you for the "rehab" you did on the 'King Street Laundry' - "AWESOME!!!"
Now for my issue, I paid for a wash I did not want because I didn't know how the app interfaced with the machine. I "REALLY" did need help because I am severely "Tech Deficient" meaning I have a very hard time with software/apps. There needs to be a 'clearly' written instructions on how it all works with a lot of caution statements. I hope you can help... G-d bless, Steve.

I am here again and I got screwed again.  Clearly I am much too stupid to be able to use your equipment.   I foolishly used #19 again and again I didn't get the wash I choose.  And then I tryed to use #20 but that machine is not working for me.  But on the positive side for you, you got "MY" money.  I don't know if you are going to credit my account the money you received for washer #20 not working.  I clearly should have gone to another laundrymat.  I  am sorry for using your equipment...   Steve

We are boaters visiting Lake Champlain and docked at the Community Boathouse. So happy we found King Street Laundry! Not only is King Street Laundry an excellent place to wash and dry your clothes, but it's a place to come and be inspired by the delightful art and the uplifting work the King Street Laundry does for the community. A one-of-a-kind laundry that I actually look forward to returning to!

The negatives:
-Creepy people tend to hang out here, regardless of whether they're doing laundry. Yes, even during the pandemic. Many folks also come into the laundromat without a mask on.
-The majority of the time, half of the dryers don't work.
-It's the only laundromat in the neighborhood
-There's a long history of people stealing people's things from this laundromat, such as other people's clothes, their laundry baskets, etc.

The positives:
-The location is convenient for a laundromat
-The washers usually work alright

Nice place to get your laundry done. The place is clean and has many units to use. It costs $2.50 for a wash. Dryers are $0.25 for five minutes.
