They don't use coins in their machines. You have to use their money card or buy your own.
Each time you want to use a machine, you have to ask one of the employees to use their card & give them the money or buy a card from them for $5 and load the card with money. Charging $5 is a little much for an empty card.
They have vending machines for laundry items but none of them work. You can buy laundry items from the employees though in case you forgot something.

Believe it or not the prices are lower than Lincolnton, a poorer area. I don't really want anyone to handle my clothes, I insisted on doing it myself, but they did help with the weird card thing. My weighted blanket was nice and fresh.

Very expensive. Smallest washers start at $2.50 and hold about 1/3 to 1/2 a laundry hamper worth of clothes. For $4.50 you can run twice that much. Dryers are more reasonably sized, but cost .50 cents for 10 minutes, so it costs $1.50 to $2.00 per load. We came in with 3 hampers and it cost almost $22.00 to run everything, and that's self service. I didn't even ask about wash and fold.

Beyond that, the owners were friendly and the facilities clean and well maintained. I would have been a lot happier if it wasn't so darned expensive.

BTW bring cash, not quarters. Everything runs off reloadible cash cards that cost a $5.00 deposit. You can get it back when you're done if don't trash the card though.
