Best laundromat around!! While many laundromats have opened and then closed their doors in Sanford Launderite has always been there for us🌺 They offer wash, dry and fold, paid by the pound and dry cleaning services. Launderite is home of the biggest dryer in town💕 There is almost always a person on site to help if needed. Machines break, all machines are unreliable because they break. It is nice that someone is there, willing to help should something go wrong; unlike other laundromats in town where you just lose your money. I have been a customer here for nearly 30 years. There are often a couple of machines down but never so many that I have to wait for others in order to wash my laundry. These specialized machines have specialized parts that often take weeks or months to acquire. Launderite has purchased MANY new machines over the years and they are not cheap at all! I could buy a mobile home for the cost of one machine. Prices are very reasonable, machines do not smell like mildew. Floors and folding tables are clean. There is constant upkeep and upgrades to both the interior and exterior. Great owners, great business! So thankful to have them🌺

Hadn't been here in years but went after family member said they do ..Well I believe I got 4 minutes for each quarter,that was after 1st quarter gave me 6 minutes.... Highway robbery that is, especially since the washers barely ring your clothes out so it takes FOREVER TO DRY YOUR CLOTHES.!!! I went home at closing with MANY item that were still very damp and had to hand around house to dry.
MANY broken machines, washers and dryers. Lots of people there hard to find a washer next to another..with pain issues I really need to have my washers and dryer side by side and they were in different locations...Same with dryers buy also most dryers were on bottom that workedaking it hard on my disabilities too..
I am gonna go try it one more time tonight just drying clothes I washed at home load after load in my tiny apartment size washer. I am curious to see how dryers work cuz I have spin dry in my washer and it is good at making clothes pretty much dry already when spun...

It was great, for a laundromat..... Until an elderly gentleman arrived and urinated himself so bad the whole building smelled like a urinal.

Not sure what’s happening here as it’s been downhill in past 3 months…have always loved doing my weekly laundry here. The cleaning has been very subpar in comparison to normal level of clean. I have actually started to bring my own rags and cleaner to wipe the tabletop I use…trust rag is brown after I wipe table. I don’t understand what happened or why it seems dirty because I see someone cleaning? I just know I don’t want to go to a place that feels dirty to clean my clothes. Please fix this, I spend minimum $100 monthly here and I’m about to find a different laundry mat.
