We truly appreciate this!
Way overpriced! $11 for a large when I can go almost anywhere else and do it for $7
This place is consistently great. Clean machines, bathroom, floors and everything. Most importantly, all the machines are consistently working and staff is always friendly and willing to help. While it’s limited, there is a FREE parking lot behind the building as well as street parking. Also close to a couple coffee shops and restaurants to kill time.
Thank you for the review! We will continue to do our best to reach these standards!
Came in on a Sunday and expected chaos, but it was very low key. Everything was clean, I liked the machines I used. I would only say there is not a variety of machines. I think 3 size options. And I would caution against the app you can install to pay the machines. It's cool bc you can see when you're stuff is done, but the pricing on it is super sus... You can only add in predetermined increments and surprise... The machines are in different increments. So there is no way I found where you can actually use all your money.
My first time into a laundry mat. I asked for help and got very little. Person working was more occupied visiting with two other people than helping me. She seemed annoyed whenever I would ask her a question. So I ended up paying $11.50 for a wash cycle that was set on the wrong setting and accomplished nothing but wasting my time and money. When I asked her help with the dryer, again she didn't want to help me. She told me I was just trying to get her to do my laundry and that I had been in several times before. Unbelievable. Terrible experience.
Thank you for your review, Kim. We reviewed security cameras and spoke with customers around the time of your review in hopes of finding out what went wrong. I wanted to find the right words before responding which took longer than I anticipated, so for that I do apologize. We have never recieved a complaint like this regarding the employee in question. We always hear the complete opposite in regards to how helpful and friendly our team is.
While reviewing cameras we noticed that you used our 6 load machine for your two big comforters (which we would have also recommended). The lowest price for that machine regardless of the settings is $11. We are more than happy to refund you the difference!
We sincerely hope you find a laundromat that meets your standards.
Great location, good parking, friendly service, and always clean as a whistle.
Lots of washers and dryers to choose from. Change making machines available, laundry soap dispenser too. Well lit and clean. Attendant onsite is friendly and helpful. I will go back.
Thank you so much for leaving a review! We appreciate your support in Lunar and look forward to seeing you again!
Lunar Laundry's been my go-to laundromat for years now. I've had closer options at the places I've lived, but I've come here exclusively anytime my washer or dryer has failed. There's usually street parking within a couple blocks north of NW 65th St, and east of 8th Ave NW. From there, you can take your load (a hamper and/or cart comes in handy here) a short distance and you're there.
Make sure to come with some cash. Everything is coin-operated; $1 bills can be broken into quarters, but otherwise options are limited (please correct me if I'm wrong btw, I can edit this review).
Once you have the necessary coin, it's smooth sailing. The counter is open for whatever detergent options you need. In my case, a lot of detergents make my skin rash, so for 75 cents (3 quarters) you can get a small load of free-clear detergent.
Once the washing is done (cycle is ~$4-5 depending on load size), the dryers are available for about $2 for an average load. Whole washing and drying process as described is about 50 minutes.
At times, I've chilled inside and read a book. At others, I've explored the area right around. I've always felt safe inside, and I've always felt like my laundry is in safe hands, whether or not I'm inside. You can walk across the street, and some great thrifting can be found at the Goodwill. Or you can get some grub nearby too. The Blue Glass nearby was the first place I ever enjoyed brussels sprouts EVER. Everywhere else nearby is used to people from the laundromat, and they're all okay with you coming and going as you please.
Best laundromat in Seattle, hands down.
Thank you so much for the detailed review! Just so you know, we do offer payrange now. Payrange is an app that you can preload money onto to use the washers and dryers.
