The machines were pretty efficient and the prices were average. There was an ATM on site to use coins as they don't use card. It wasn't until I was halfway through that I saw this sticker on the machines showing that you can pay through an app which I found pretty cool for the next time I come.

There is street parking or free in the back, but it's a tight fit if you do that. On-street might be easier to be honest.

Really hesitant to blow up my spot but to be honest they deserve it. Tidy, well lit spot with a ton of machines all in great working order. I've never been unhappy with a wash or had a machine fail to work. I've been in once a week for over a year and I've never had to wait for a machine, even when they're busy. Right next to great places to grab a coffee (Mainstay) or a beer (The Dray) while you wait for your laundry to finish.

The laundry process is pretty quick and seamless here, you could be done in under an hour depending on the load. The washers aren’t expensive when you compare the size of the jumbo washers. I put in one load what would’ve been two to three loads of linens are my house and I feel like I totally get my money’s worth.

Also totally worth the two buses it takes to get there. I’m glad we have such a great laundromat in the area.

After just having had the worst laundry experience of my life in Los Angeles, I just had to give a good review to the best laundromat in Seattle. I've been going here since they opened, maybe 10-12 years ago? Can't remember. But after running into this "cyberlaundry" card reader crap a couple times I have to give the owners of Lunar props for steering clear of it and choosing the tried and true coin-op system instead. It just works. Those card reader systems are junk. Plus Lunar is always clean and there are almost never broken machines. Also great is that they sell you single doses of detergent at the attendant window, so you don't have to buy and carry a bunch of laundry stuff. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. It's no wonder this place is so popular! I will be really glad to be doing my laundry there again when i get back!
