100 reviewsnice, decently clean place. would be much more convenient if they were open 24 hours. the dryers along the back wall work very poorly, be prepared to pay for additional time or another cycle.
Hello Christian, thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry you felt the dryers were not up to par, we will make sure to get them checked out as soon as we can. Hope you have a great day
I did not have a good experience yesterday at the laundromat the washer malfunction with my clothes in it so I had to pay extra money thank God that I had it wish you had somebody there when people are washing that can assist thank you
Hello Debra, sorry to hear one of our washers had an issue. It is unfortunate, so I am sorry that happened. I wish machines worked 100% of the time all the time but break downs happen. In order to keep our pricing the lowest and best around, we simply can’t afford to staff the store at all hours of operation. We do have cleaners that come
multiple times a day that typically can help with things. Hope you have a Happy New Year and a better experience next time you come in.
The lady working there keeps everything so clean and polished. She never stopped cleaning the whole time Inwas there!
Jeanie, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and using MegaWave. We have the BEST people working at MegaWave and they work hard to keep everything so clean. We hope you have a great day!
First impression count!!!!! The company did & dose more to represent The Megawave. I was very surprised at these following things: Location , cleanliness of business , cost effective for my pockets , staff very professional, & other …
Anna - thank you so much for all of the kind words, taking the time to leave a review as well as using MegaWave. We GREATLY appreciate it. We hope you have a fantastic day.
Appearances can be deceiving. While this laundromat may look clean at first glance, a closer inspection reveals a troubling lack of sanitation. Many machines show visible signs of mold, suggesting that while surfaces may be wiped down, the interiors are not properly disinfected.
The change machines dispense tokens rather than quarters, which might work for locals but is inconvenient for travelers passing through. Seating and folding space are minimal, and thick layers of dust are visible on high surfaces—clearly neglected. A ladder and broom wouldn’t hurt.
Entertainment options are nonexistent. TVs were off during my visit, and there are no games or amenities to pass the time. Equipment is mismatched: outdated Speed Queen dryers from the '90s paired with Maytag washers, which are notoriously unreliable in commercial settings.
Pricing is steep—$4.50 for a 30 lb wash and $3.25 for just 30 minutes of drying. To top it off, the handyman on site gave off an unprofessional impression, both in appearance and demeanor.
(I’m giving this business 5 stars because I’m not sure if my experience was with an employee or another customer — regardless I feel I need to share because it felt like an unsafe situation) Megawave is incredibly clean and the machines work great. I had an overload of laundry because my rental’s dryer is probably 40 years old. I brought probably 7 loads, and was able to get everything (including lots of large blankets) clean in about 2 hours! Unfortunately there was a strange experience as I left, that will likely keep me from returning. I had left with my husband (I’m using his account to post this review) and toddler to get lunch while the dryers ran and when I returned to collect my laundry in the boxes I had brought stuff in, I was met with an alarming amount of suspicion. I chose not to fold my laundry there, because my husband was waiting in the car with a sleeping kiddo and, with how much we’d brought, I’d rather fold in front of my tv at home anyways. As I was leaving, a man in a camo jacket, that had been staring out the door as I continuously struggled to get things into my car, suddenly became animated as I was about to leave and requested to look at my car. The man circled my car (lingering on my license plates), under the guise of being interested in purchasing a Subaru. I’m not going to make any assumptions about why this man was so suspicious of me specifically (likely thinking I was stealing clothes), but as a young mother, just trying to do my laundry, I felt incredibly unsafe and targeted and will not be returning to this establishment.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to use MegaWave and leave a review. I am sorry to hear about this incident outside. I will contact the owner of the building to see what we can do to prevent this from happening again.

I use to do my laundry there because I lived in Hopkins great facilities!
This guy is as crooked as they come. I lost $5 in a machine and his response was “Why don’t you get a lawyer and track me down.” What a poor way to run a business. By the way the machines worked I am convinced his machines are set up to …
