3 reviewsI've through several times since I moved back to Minneapolis. 'Tish is kind and pleasant. She makes it easy for old guys like me. Hey bosses at Pilgrim! Keep her in your future plans, she makes Pilgrim a better place.
Brought a suit and three white shirts. It was ~$90 and EVERY SINGLE WHITE SHIRT IS NOW STAINED. I truly doubt they cleaned any of my shirts. I will not be back
Hi Matthew,
We take pride in the quality of our work and would appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Please feel free to bring the shirts back to our Pilgrim location at your convenience—our cleaning team will address any concerns you have. Thank you.
I have never been one to leave a review, but I have never been so disrespected by customer service employee like I was at Pilgrim Dry Cleaners. I needed to get my 6 formal dresses cleaned back in September (my mistake to do them all at once at a place I’ve never been). The dresses came back shrunk at the seams. I, being like any reasonable person, did not try them on until my next function a months later. A dress’s out-layer mesh was bunching at the seams while the inner fit fine. I then went into the cleaners in November to ask what happened. Two employees told me something was wrong, so the location manager kindly took them in her care to show their regional manager, Wanda. Wanda claims to have 40 years of experience in the business, but she lacks sympathy and good communication skills. To consistently imply a young woman in her 20s is the reason 6 dress that fit one month prior, is beyond rude and insensitive. I even showed her images of where the dress is loose fitting and shrunk at the seams, but Wanda insisted it was my fault. After almost two months of calls, she gave the dresses back and tried to charge me for recleaning them even though I did not ask her to. Upon return of the dresses, one had a rip by the zipper and the other had decorative flowers frayed/ripped. Wanda then said it’s not their fault because the manufacturer didn’t make the flowers with finished seams. But why clean a dress if you know you may ruin it? Wanda spoke over me, talked down to me, and never once stopped talking to allow me to understand the situation. She finally agreed to fully reimburse me my $250. However, I have only been reimbursed $166. On our last call, Wanda yet again talked over me and hung up the phone without allowing me to respond. Wanda, I will happily honor your request and never step foot in a Pilgrim Dry cleaners Again, and neither will any coworkers, friends, family, or acquaintances.
Hello Gabriela,
We take all customer concerns seriously. However, the dresses were from different designers and made of different materials (primarily nylon and polyester), so it is very unlikely that all six dresses would have construction or shrinkage issues. The dresses were initially cleaned in September and were out of our care for several months before being returned. Our supervisor, Wanda, reviewed the garments thoroughly and handled the situation professionally, taking all reasonable steps given that the dresses had been out of our care for several months.
As a gesture of goodwill, we reimbursed $258.00 for the cleaning (The remaining amount is still processing through our systems). We strive to provide fair and respectful service to all customers and regret that this experience did not meet your expectations.
