50 reviewsNew owners have done a great job of I’m improving the place. It’s now bright and clean. Prices are in line with other laundromats. Re-did the bathroom, now clean abs nice. New vending options. Not busy.
Thank you Jessica for your 5-star review! We appreciate the positive feedback :)
I had to wash my scrubs after work tonight & decided to try this place out. It's definitely inferior to other laundromats I've gone to. It was freezing inside, I paid $1 more for the wash using the same machine I use at my regular laundromat. The dryers are bad too for commercial dryers. My clothes came out half dry compared to the same time & temperature drying at my regular place too. I didn't have all night to wait for my clothes to dry, so I have half dried clothes laying on my floor currently until I can get to my laundromat to finish the job tomorrow morning.
While I was waiting for my clothes to be done, I went to my car to warm up. After a few minutes, the security camera light came on bright and I felt spied on. It is not motion detected. I felt like someone was watching me through that camera. After a while the bright lights went out. As a single female, alone at 11pm, I got a very icky feeling about that.
I won't ever go here again.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry your experience was not up to our standards. We do monitor our laundromats for the safety of our patrons and our property. Many of our customers are doing laundry alone so the owners do "watch" periodically to ensure safety. If that gives you a "very icky feeling", I don't have a response aside from I apologize it made you feel that way. NOTE: the security cameras are motion activated.
We also test our machines for temperature/time; if there are any problems, we ask that you notify us by completing a form so that we can resolve it. We are a family run business and take suggestions and feedback seriously. Thank you for taking time out of your day to help us improve our business!
The washer I used was completely useless. It didn't clean my clothes and did not extract any excess water from my clothes either and the last 7 minutes of the wash cycle was at least 15 minutes. I literally had to wring my clothes out (which I did on the floor and the water that came from my clothes was brown thats how you can tell the washer didn't clean them ) after the washer door finally unlocked. And then I got to spend more than I wanted on a dryer because the read out on the machine did not tell me what the timer was set for until after I pressed start. Also this looks like a place to go if you're ready to be murdered. I've nicknamed it the murder mat for that reason. So in short this place is a little bit incredibly terrible.
Their laundry Mat is true to service! Opened 24/7! It’s a rarity in this day and age. While the screen door is a bit off putting to most… the charm of a classic laundry mat with slight updated charms is relaxing. I called in to see if they were still open late at night. Weird enough I got a response! I do believe this place is a hidden charm for a laundry mat!
I refuse to believe that any of the five star reviews are real. The place is gross and run down and the prices are absolutely outrageous. It's almost as if they don't understand that laundromats are supposed to be CHEAPER alternatives to having your own washing machines. Even the predatory and overpriced college dorms have laundry machines at a third of the price you'd pay here. That and the fact that they ONLY take quarters is just the cherry on top. Not making any accusations but this place seems shady enough to write some fake reviews
Rest assured the reviews are real. Maybe the 1🌟 reviews are fake. In all seriousness, we appreciate your feedback. …
Very clean, new technology to pay is nice! I drive past several laundry mats to get here, well worth it!
It was super dirty. Dead bugs everywhere, there were someone's clothes in the bathroom. I'd say a 1/3 or the machines are out of order. I understand there are shortages, but all of the big washers and driers were not working. I live in the neighborhood and only have been here a couple of times to throw in my bigger items. I hope you take my feedback to heart because I really love that it's so close to my house, I just really struggle with the level of cleanliness. I feel like I was dirty walking out of this place.
Thanks for your review; this was so 3-months ago.
All jokes aside, we have replaced and upgraded several units since your post. We hope you will give us another try but we understand that as hard we try, we cannot please everyone.
I have doing my laundry here for over 5 years. My washer or dryer broke, I come here. It’s the only 24 hour laundromat in Appleton. Newer machines, dryers work phenomenal. I hope they fix the out of service washers soon, and I absolutely hope they implement the app that has been posted since before last summer. My only complaint is that the owner came up to my car while I was waiting for my clothes to dry and told me that I couldn’t camp there. I was so upset about it that I almost debated not using them anymore, but I like doing my laundry in the middle of night when it’s so quiet.
Hi Medlinda. Thank you so much for the 5 ⭐️ review. We have worked hard to make it better. The PayRange app is in operation as of last Sunday and we have 5 more washers coming soon to replace the 2 out of order ones and add more.
I do not recall asking anyone to leave that was waiting for laundry to finish. We do monitor the laundromat to keep people from loitering to make it a safe environment at all times for customers like you
Thanks again,
The Owners
Plenty of washers and dryers available, clean place and accessible during construction. Love it here.
Thank you Shauna for your 5-star review! We appreciate you as a customer.
Asked for.refund on some machines... They said the problem was I overloaded it but really a plug in their pipe stopped it from emptying. Told me they had repair because of it but really was so plugged suds came up into the next machine! Doesn't take a genius to see that is a plug in the pipe. No hard feelings just do your maintenance and give fair refunds. EDIT.. Proscribed response IMHO. Not too much soap. Put it in designated spot as anyone would. The washer filled up too high. Suds went on floor because washer was not empty when i was forced to open the door. NOT because too much soap. Machine was fine until it missed the rinse and spin stage. NOT overloaded. I have pics and vids of it just a few days ago working correctly. Way lower fill level. When suds and water are coming into nearby washers its not the customers issue. That suggests a plugged or restricted pipe. THAT is common sense... This machine never ended its cycle thus the second wash. Nothing to do with fill level of customer. Had to have spin cycle in order to dry so did second cycle. Did NOT put sopping drapes in dryer. Someones amiss on that front. In fact none of it was even drapes but I digress... Not customer fault. Dryer pop opened... Can go either way BUT the second dryers cycle worked as intended. Suggesting customer was in the right. Dryer opens too easily happens all the time. If Im not mistaken same dryer now flagged as inoperable as of last week. These are facts. You'll learn as you go.
Mr. Wise, we appreciate our customers and are happy to issue refunds when warranted. However during your visit on 8/20/2020, you filled the washer with items (specifically drapes) beyond capacity, Also you used too much soap, causing the suds to overflow out of the top, sides and front of the machine. We had to call a service technician to fix this washing machine, re-adjust due to overloading--NO PLUGGED PIPE.
Then because the washer was overloaded and unable to complete the cycle, you put the sopping drapes in ONE dryer—your load should have been split into 4 separate loads. The overloading caused the dryer door to pop open after a minute of you leaving the items unattended.
In good faith, we still issued you a partial refund. We value our customers and work hard to provide a safe, clean laundromat. Unfortunately there are people that lack common sense and in those cases, we respectfully request they do their laundry elsewhere. This may be one of those cases, no hard feelings.
