Extremely Disappointing Experience at Salem Laundry

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Salem Laundry today was unacceptable and worth sharing.

After using one of the washing machines with my usual detergent, I noticed my clothes didn’t look or smell clean. Assuming it was just bad luck, I tried again this time with a larger washer and extra care.

The second attempt was even worse. My clothes came out stained, still dirty, and with a bad odor. It was clear they weren’t cleaned properly by the machines. I left frustrated and now need to redo all my laundry somewhere else.

At a minimum, I expected working machines and basic cleanliness. Instead, I wasted time, money, and now have even more laundry to deal with. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this laundromat to anyone. I would also appreciate a refund for the inconvenience.

Your staff is very rude, a older women rudely told me I could not do laundry at 8 PM. It was one load and would have been completed by 9, the time you close. Why open till 9 if I can't wash after 730???

I came here to do my laundry and was met with outstanding customer service. it’s very affordable, one weeks worth of clothes costed me not even $10. You can really tell the employees put in the effort to connect with customers, really great experience, I’ll definitely be returning!

I was looking for a new laundromat in town and stopped by Salem laundry to check it out. The place, machines was clean and the price was fair. However the employees there made me felt very uncomfortable. The young girl was actually nice enough to ask if I had any questions. I then saw an older woman walked up and gave me this hatred, suspicious look. She then walked over to the girl and whispered something to her and laughed. I was going to ask a question but decided to leave as it got so uncomfortable. I then saw Sunshine laundry right across the street full of cars in their parking lot and knew why Salem laundry parking lot was empty.

Very disappointed. Never had an issue befote. Ny dryer broke so I only needed a dryer. But I had to be told by another customer, instead of attendant, that they were closing and I could not start a wash. I said I didnt need a washer, just a dryer. Other customer said no. How rude. Never going there again.
