I have attached photos of the dress before and after taking it to seamsters to get it pressed. When I first picked it up I thought they did a great job, but I realized a couple days later (today) when I took it out of the bag to try on before I took it in for alterations (had an appointment at 6:30 this morning) that there was a giant stain on the bottom front of the dress and the material feels like it has been melted. I tried calling to resolve this with seamsters when they opened this morning and sent them photos but since I took the dress in for alterations and can’t physically bring it in for them to look at they are refusing to offer a partial refund. The dress was brand new when I brought it in, it still has the tags on it. I picked it up on Monday and it went directly to my closet and has been hanging in the plastic since then, but they tried telling me I caused the damage, not them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHING HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET IT BACK WITHOUT DAMAGE. If they had mentioned it when I picked it up we could have worked something out then, or if they had been willing to work with me when I called them I would not be posting this, but instead they charged me $35 to damage my dress.

I love that they are a Christian business, but it’s not affordable in the slightest. It cost $75 dollars to get a suede jacket cleaned and a 2 piece suit. Again, really nice but the price is just insane. I paid $55 upfront which seemed steep to me, and then they asked for $20 once I picked up. Definitely go elsewhere if you’re on a budget, I would not have gotten my things cleaned here if I knew how expensive it would be.
