I love how clean and well taken care of this place is. I drive from Portsmouth to Virginia Beach just because the machines and dryers do such an amazing job. Definitely i feel its worth the drive. I've tried many laundromats and have been extremely disappointed. Such a waste of money because the fact that i spent money on my clothes to be washed and dried. My clothes didn't seem clean at all. Don't waste your time. Im sorry to say.

So I've never had to use a laundromat before and since I had just recently discovered bedbugs in the home I needed to make sure those suckers were not going to survive in my clothes. I had let the lady know my situation and that I needed some advice and she was more than willing to literally walk me through each and every step. Super sweet, funny and had the best customer service I've ever experienced ever. The place is extremely clean and the machines definitely do their job and do it well. I have a whole wardrobe of clothes I gotta take care of and I will be coming here for every piece that needs washing. All I hope is that they get paid well cause if not then they need a raise, they deserve it.

I came into this location to find out the amount left on a card and Peggy it was so friendly inside she was greeting me at the door. There are beautiful Christmas decorations and warm atmosphere.
I found out my amount and I left I went down the street to washland and walked in to a very blah space. The lady was rude she was continually on the phone placing her grocery order about cereal while trying to give me information about the amount that was left on my card which happened to me more but I decided to leave and come back here to the Soap and Suds because of how friendly Peggy was.
She noticed I was in the handicap parking spot assisted me from beginning to end getting my items set into the washers and while I was on the phone with the hospital she even took them out of the washer asked me for my card and put them in the dryer so I would not have to hang up!! What service!
I would definitely come back here! Peggy is outstanding customer service, pleasant attitude and a great asset to this family friendly and VERY clean business .

A bit pricey. About $30 to wash and partially dry 2 king size bed comforters. The machine to add credit to my card was only accepting cash. The woman working there not at all apologetic. But, on a positive note, I was done in 45 minutes.
