Spark Laundry is an excellent 24 hour hour Laundromat serving the Med Center, Meyerland, and Westchase area.

It offers numerous updated options to get your laundry needs taken care of quick and simply no matter what time of the day or night you find yourself in need of clean laundry. The washers & dryers are modern and there is quite a few of them, so even if it’s extremely busy you can get in and out, with little to no wait. The only time I can see time being an issue would be on the highest volume days/nights during peak hours.

Spark offers coin free washer & dryer service using electronically loaded pay cards at the exchange station. You can find your card by Apple wallet, Google Pay, all major credit cards, debit cards, and of course cash money and coins. There is a 1.00 processing fee for a new card and if you even doubt you might need to come back one day, I’d recommend keeping it in a safe place. A wallet could over time degrade the magnetic strip and details from wear & tear over time.

This location is in a tucked away area on Beverley Street, it is easily noticeable and well lit making it nearly impossible to pass up. It’s on the backside of a Chevron and the Spark location itself serves not only as a laundromat but a self service car wash. Although, it closes at 8pm unlike the Washateria which does not close.

As for cleanliness & safety this is one of the better, if not best locations in this area, especially for the fact that it’s open 24 hours a day. Each time I have visited the location I always see staff sweeping/mopping the floors, staffing the detergent/help desk, changing the trash, and keeping the machines clean for the next person. The other customers are generally families and working class Houstonians that keep to themselves and operate with a sense of decency and courtesy. It’s very much a communal atmosphere and seemingly safe.

With that being said no matter how an establishment feels or appears, practice common sense, alertness, and intention with every movement. Don’t make yourself a target by leaving valuables in sight of anyone, leaving your car unlocked, valuables laying around, being too friendly or staring too much at anyone, looming near someone’s property, or being rude or disorderly.

The dryers offer Low Medium High Heat and permanent press and the cost is 1.50 for each cycle and the washers start at 3.50 each cycle, an unlike less scrupulous businesses the machines are spacious and economical enabling hard-working Houstonians to get their money’s worth and minimize effort and over spending.

Just remember to be courteous, leave the units & folding areas how you found them, and throw away your trash and dryer sheets.

In conclusion, this is without a doubt an excellent place to go when you need clean and functional machines that won’t break the bank and will allow you to get home fast.

First time here. I wanted to try it because is closer to my home and is harder to find a very clean and nice whashateria near Galleria Area, the Only reason I put 4 stars is because there were a lot of kids running and screaming, and Also there is no enough parking for the the washateria! Everything else very Good !

I've used their wash and fold service for a few years. No longer. They ruined three clothing items, with ink stains. Check the washers and dryers !
