Speedy 😁 …
The young lady is doing too much at her job. She told me if I don’t talk to her softly I can go across the street to the other laundromat. Yet as I was leaving she was extra kind by bending over backwards to please me. Come do your laundry with the men are here because I had no problems with them.
Very great experience for my first time there. The attendant Jay was welcoming, informative, and very helpful. I think this will be my temporary regular place until I can replace my washing machine and dryer.
Was greeted by Jasmine the attendant and she was very pleasant . She explained how everything works she was wonderful and friendly. She met me at the door and offered to help me with my bags. Very clean place and nice atmosphere. Will be returning. 10 out of 10
Thank you so much, Abigail! 🌟 We’re thrilled to hear Jasemine made such a great impression — she truly cares about making every guest feel welcome and at home. We take pride in keeping our laundromat clean and comfortable, so it’s great to know you enjoyed the atmosphere. We can’t wait to see you again soon! 💙 …
At first I thought the laundromat was nice. New, organized and a better process. Even the parking lot was good.
I've been there 4 times the first was nice. The man offered help with the new washers and dryers and was friendly. The 2nd time I came, the female there was very serious about people closing the dryer doors because she says it's "cleaner". First of all. Given the amount of work she is doing, she can close the dryers herself. But she walks all the way over to me to tell me while folding my clothes to close the dryer. But she was over there already. Im old, I am already folding. She telling others but they are forgetting too because they are trying to do their laundry and not be bothered. We got into an argument because im tired from work. We got into a big argument, now I had to call the police because she threatened me in front of the other customers and another employee. No one cares about closing a dryer across the room for cleanliness. That is dumb. Also, stop taking people's basket from in front of their washers. Again. I worked all day and tired, I dont want to keep walking up to the front inconveniently everytime I need my basket when its in front of my washer. I am tired and want to do my laundry. I spend 30.00 there. Now im not coming back because I dont want to be harassed about a dryer door that you very well could close if its that important to you. I've been to 100 laundromats. Come on. I have a business too. And I will Not take my customers through that for fear of losing them, like you losing me. To give a review, id have to be really rubbed the wrong way. As I dont normally have time. Well today I had time. Tired of businesses with things like this. Now I dont want to come back, if I see her again. She even kept bothering the other customers, incessantly like she had nothing to do, obviously the customer is annoyed. I am annoyed and will back to a raggedy one to get peace when I get off work. I am washing clothes not maintaining a laundromat. Watch how she is. The man wasn't like that. He never not once mentioned the dryer doors or bothering others. Only the female. I shouldn't have to have any feelings about doing my danglaundry..no other place have i had this problem.
Please send me your contact info so I can address it asap with the correct attendant. Admin@speedy313.com
I would like to bring to your attention my disappointing experience at your laundromat. Although I typically visit the Southfield location, I wanted to support your new establishment within the community. Unfortunately, I was charged a twenty-five-dollar service fee on my credit card, which I found perplexing since the Southfield location does not charge such a fee. Instead, they clearly disclose a sales tax. I think this inconsistency deserves attention, especially in communities where residents, including single mothers and senior citizens, may face financial difficulties. Moreover, I was disturbed by the laundry attendant's behavior. When I arrived, I observed her removing personal belongings from a washing machine, despite the presence of a timer. This invasion of privacy was disconcerting, particularly since my underwear and children's clothing were among the items handled. I request that you reconsider this practice, especially given the lack of a five-minute grace period. I hope you will investigate these concerns and consider revising your policies, including the twenty-five-dollar service fee. Thank you
Hello Nichole, thank you for stopping in today. You are very mistaken. There is no such thing as a “$25 service fee”. You used the Dexter App to pay (which is optional) and it charged a $25 pre-authorization. The charge will fall off tomorrow, just like when you put gas.
Secondly - the attendant was not doing “personal laundry” she was doing a drop off which is a service we offer to customers, Such as Wash- Dry- Fold.
We kindly ask that you revisit this 1 star review as this does strongly impact us especially for a business that has recently invested back into the community.
This is my first time at this laundromat and I must say it will definitely be my last I feel like I was baited and switched they do not have single size washer so you are forced to use their double size washers that's cool because they say two loads 20 lb for $4 not bad only thing is I put in my load of clothes probably a load and a half and it wasn't washing properly I was told by the attendant that I had over stuffed it I told him there was no way on Earth that that was too loads that I had brought in here he told me it was a matter of perspective my perspective is if the sign says $4 for two loads 20 lb I should be able to spend $4 for two loads one machine 20 lbs I had to split my load and a half now instead of paying $4 for two loads and one washer I had to pay $8 for half load and two separate washers
Hi Carla! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry your first visit was confusing, as that’s never our goal. Our washers are labeled for up to two loads (20 lbs), and for the best results, clothes need enough room to move freely during the wash. Our attendant was happy to assist and recommend splitting the load so everything would wash properly. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to help us explain machine capacity more clearly for future guests. Thank you for giving us a try, we wish you the best and hope to see you back soon!
Do not come here. Very rude and disrespectful. Wouldn’t let young man to wait for bus in negative degree weather
We take feedback seriously, but this review is not an accurate reflection of our business or how we treat customers. On the day in question, the temperature was 23 degrees, not negative. The individual referenced was not a customer and was asked politely to step away from blocking our main entrance. Unfortunately, they became rude when addressed. For these reasons, this review is invalid and misleading, and does not represent our standards or the experience of our actual customers.
