Friendly and highly understanding staff make this a great place to go when in the need of clean garments, there is always an attendant on staff to handle any dry cleaning needs you have(and to help you get the pinball machine working if your into a little more stimulating activties when your laundry is being wash.) As with all laundry mats you are required to be doing business with this establishment if you want to use the coin machines. They have a pretty decent foyer/waiting area for you to relax and watch or read the news. This is also where the vending machines are located if in need of a snack or beverage. My favorite part of doing laundry here in all honestly is the archaic and outdated clothes washing equipment found on display near the entrance. It really gives a sense the owner really does have an interest in his craft and also showcases what a marvel it is anyone was able to do laundry before the invention of elctricty. I almost feel I'm seeing into the past at a part of history I would have never considered before and gives me the feelings of being in a museum if only ever so slightly. There are tons of washing machines/dryers here so you're unlikely to run into a shortage on either and the variety between seperate machines gives you confidence you will always be able to do your laundry at the best possible price. I sadly have no comments on the tanning salon though they are infact ran by the same company/owner.

My absolute favorite place to tan! It's crazy because I've probably tried every tanning place in Minneapolis/St. Paul area. . I keep coming back to Suds America and I'll never leave! The owners (him, his wife & even his daughter) are absolutely amazing! Every person that works for him is held to high standards and passes every time! If we had more places like this the world would be a much better place! P.s the bulbs are awesome, all different beds to keep pigmentation up & very reasonably priced packages & lotions! !

The gentleman working at the Suds America Laundromat was so helpful, I needed directions. He told me that it had been voted the BEST Laundromat in Town.
I'm sure your clothes will get very clean too.

Generally I don't have any problems with my laundry
Lots of machines
And you can drop off your laundry and pick it up clean and folded

Great location but the machines are old and not efficient. There is one in particular (as you walk in on the left hand side) that should be taken out because it doesn’t wash properly. Every-time I’ve gone there, folks have accidentally put their items in (because no Out of Order sign) when they notice it’s not working they notify the attendant and in every occasion the attendant has lied with the same story- they say it may not look like it but the machine is doing its job. The machine doesn’t fill with water so when folks have taken their items out, there are dry spots where it never washed. The attendants know it does not work. It’s been 3 separate times and all three times they have refunded folks their money but what about their time? Any way, for this reason it’s a two for me. The location is great but the dryers are old and for the price, they should dry better/faster.
