Place is socks to do your laundry. Always broken W/D. Very tight.

My wife and I went here for a date last night. Hadn’t been a few years and we love pinball. We were shocked when we walked through the door. What was once a vibrant, fun and amazing room filled to the brim with pinball machines is now a weird bar in the back of a laundromat with bad beer, and only 4 machines (there used to be over 20 machines). Totally disappointing & confusing to see one of the coolest establishments in Brooklyn change for the worse. A real gut punch, honestly. Why would you take away the exact thing that made your establishment popular? So sad. I’m sure he cost was a lot or something we don’t understand. Will probably never go back. If you’re looking for something like the old Sunshine go to Jackbar instead.

Much more of a bar vibe than a serious pinball spot, but that's ok. They have opened a sister spot, Scrappleland, close by for those that want some bar with with their pinball rather than the other way around.

Great, hidden gem. Bar food, beer & pinball (plus wash a load if you need to)

An unassuming treasure in Greenpoint. At first glance it's a pretty cramped laundromat stuffed to the gills with pinball machines. There are extra pinball machines packed away and stacked above the washer dryers as well. You might play a few games and walk out, but stick around and walk to the back. You'll find a relaxed bar ingeniously hidden away. Well designed and decorated bar with exposed brick. A very cool space to hang out in.

One of my favorite places in NYC. I've never done laundry here, but the "secret" pinball bar in the back features a fantastic (rotating) selection of tables that range from classics to modern marvels. Beers are moderately priced, and every game is a buck. An amazing place to lose an evening.

So much fun on the pinball machines. Some for 75 cent some are 1 dollar. Can get also beer from draft and refreshing drinks.

A GREAT TOURIST EXPERIENCE - came here with two children, we bought all our pocket money and had lots of fun! Although their games are cheap, they are quick and with two children it adds up quick. Bar was nice and affordable

PROS: If you like pinball, this is a cool place. They have LOTS of machines in good working order along with good beer and a mystery frozen drink offering.

CONS: pinball is a little pricey at $1/game. It is a tight space. It can be loud.

They have set all the games up so brutally it is no longer fun to play there. Great selection, but they have allowed greed to take over. If you actually enjoy pinball, stay away from Sunshine. They just want to take your money.
