Clean, well stocked with laundry necessities! Huge machines if needed. Free dryers. Nice laundry attendants. Free parking. Clean washers. TV to occupy kids and place to charge cell phone. No riff-raff hanging around to harass you! Handicap accessible is a plus!!!! Near Mc Donald's, Dunkin Donuts and Rite-aid is a plus!

It's really amazing: I walked into this building with a bunch of really dirty clothes and when I left they were completely clean.
They now have an ATM.
Seriously it's a nice place and they keep it really clean.

I can't remember right now what it was prior to being tacony laundry, but I can remember all to well how awful I was treated the last time I was there! My card wasn't working I was getting an error message from the kiosk saying, "see an employee for help"! Which is pretty much cut and dry-without the help of an employee I wouldn't be able to use my card! Therefore couldn't wash or dry my snow soaked mukluks boots, socks, or coat! It was freezing! I walked from Frankford & Welsh, (pulling a suitcase full of what lil belongings I had at the time)threw about a ft of slushy snow! I was cold, tired & broke! My motivation was my laundry card that I had just put 20$ on! I figured I'd wash/dry my stuff plus have a bonus of warmth while waiting, but I was wrong! The ignorant & judgemental owner/employee was having a conversation with some1- so I waited about 10 min-the Convo continued-so I politely said, "excuse me?" The attendent looked at me-then ignored me! Continued talking! I then said, "my card isn't working!" He shrugged his shoulders-as if to say, "what do u want me to do?" So I then said, " the kiosk is saying I need to see an employee for help!" He then said, "I'm busy!" And continued his conversation! I stood there for a minute shocked! Humiliated! & Then after a few minutes I fully understood- I knew I was being prejudged based solely on my living status at the time (I was homeless going on about a month)! But this was the first time I actually felt homeless (so-to-speak)! In short I went through alot within that mnth-pain-hurt-feeling as if I wasn't human anymore-an outsider in my own skin, ect. And learned alot & always reminded myself not to loose my identity-that this too shall pass! But the employee at tacony laundry showed me how seriously cruel ppl can be & without hesitation or remorse! I'll never enter through those doors again! I forfited the $20 on my card- $ not spent in the best way!

Clean, new laundromat. The worker was very helpful and came out and brought our carts back in. The area is pretty sketchy...the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Very nice place. Drop off is a breeze and the staff is courteous and very helpful. My clothes were folded perfectly and I cant say anything negative about this business!

The people that work here are always helpful. It's a clean & comfortable place to do laundry. The vending machines have useful things & good snacks. Always a good experience.
