Got a question about Tremont Street Laundromat? Ask the community!

Q Are you open on Sunday?
A No answer yet.
Q They have change machine?
A No. Unfortunately not. You need exact cash in increments of $5, 10, or 20 dollar bills.
Q how much is machine and detergent
A Machines range from 3.25-3.75 for washers (depending on washer size used) and dryers are 25 cents for 8 minutes.

You'll need to get a reloadable laundry card. Which is $5 for the card itself. And you'd have to bring your own detergent. Thankfully a couple CVS and other stores in the area.

Carry $5 notes, then everything is fine

Most of the drying machines in disrepair, no detergent available for purchase. Unclear directions for using the expensive and single use pay card that you have to buy. Awful place to get laundry done. Whole shop is dirty.

No complaints too severe. Just make sure you have 5 dollar bills and save enough for four drys. Lol

Some machines work, require special card from card dispenser - which is out of cards. Laundry detergent dispenser doesn't work, bring your own.

I use this place because I don’t have much choice, nothing else is really nearby. Photos show the state of it as of October 2023. If you come here be prepared - not clean, not well stocked, most machines don’t work!

Bring your own detergent! Other than that it was fine, clean and plenty of free machines.

This laundromat is cheaper and convenient than the other laundromats in town. However, I now have holes in nearly all of my clothing after going there for a few months. I’ve never had this problem before and now will have to find a new laundromat. I rather pay a little more money than have to replace my entire wardrobe.

Clean big machines for heavy duty or bulky comforters. Cash only. You need a $5 bill exact change $5 to buy a laundry card. Then cash to add money on card.

Like others have said, you better have a $5 bill to buy one of their cards. Not 10, not quarters, not credit cards…

Place is un-staffed. Only like three chairs. Kinda dirty, but that’s mostly from not having an attendant to sweep and mop.

If you are a traveler, ask your hotel if they have a card? I’ll be leaving my empty card with the front desk since it’s useless for me after this one trip.

Nothing works. It's even impossible to get a card that's used to pay for the machines. It's literally useless to anyone who did not get a card in the past.
