Machines were dirty. Trash and lint all over the floor. $6 to do a big load (most other places are around $4). No bathrooms or attendants on site. Run down and out of date. Just poorly maintained in general.

Vermont Hills Laundromat is cleaned every day prior to opening. If it does not look clean right now, it is because earlier customers were messy and inconsiderate. Our equipment is modern and energy efficient. Our large load washers start at $4.25 for a triple load. We are there every night to make sure everything is working properly and well maintained. Vermont Hills Laundromat is a self-serve, unattended laundromat often complimented by those who use it - look at the other reviews! Perhaps self-serve does not suit you.

Fair enough prices, they have recently updated the pay methods as well. You can now use contactless, app and coin payments.

Odd to be writing a review when there's no food or drink to be had, but I'm impressed. It's always very clean, and they even let you stay after ten to finish your laundry, just make sure you don't lock yourself out with your laundry still inside lol.

Well it appears that they may be under new management, because they USED to be a 5 star place to take your laundry, but now I'm only seeing complaints and the owners responses are less than helpful (and certainly taking zero responsibility for any of their customers issues). Guess I'll have to go somewhere else now. Dang.

We've owned and operated Vermont Hills Laundromat since 1989! The Laundromat is a self-serve, unattended laundromat, but that doesn't mean we don't care! After reading all the glowing reviews, I was very surprised at the starkness of the place. No chairs. I have never in my life seen a laundromat with no chairs. There are hard ledges with your back to a hard counter or the wall to sit on. I have a bad back and cannot sit on that. Luckily, we had the car to sit in.

It was clean like the reviews said. But wow, you guys must make a fortune each day: no attendant, no television, no restroom, no seating to maintain. It doesn't get much more bare bones than this. Maybe in prisons...
