This is quite possibly the nicest laundromat I’ve ever been in. It’s so clean. Every machine is in great shape. There are flat screen tv’s with a decent variety of programs to choose from.
I really like that they have a good selection of washer and dryer sizes to suit your needs. (Comforters, large loads, regular loads).

A very bad experience! I was at the VA Beach Wash Land Hilltop Laundromat on Wednesday Dec 4 around 3:30. Several people were there washing clothes. A woman near me, in the isle in front of the tv was washing a lot of clothes at least six loads, loading machines, waiting and watching a cooking show. The evening relief employee arrived came over and changed the station to Monk. The other woman said “I was watching”. She very rudely said “go home and watch your own tv”. I said “I cannot believe you just said that” and she just walked past me to sit behind the counter and watch tv. Later after the woman finished her laundry and left the employee came to me and told me the owners gave her permission to treat customers this way and it was her right. The woman was black and the employee targeted her with her extremely rude comments. Pictures of her are attached; it’s the overweight elderly woman with the frizzy ponytail.

Clean, great variety of sizes of washers. Seemed to wash and dry clothes well. Have to buy a card and put money on it..can not just use coins. When you are traveling this is a pain as I know I will never use the remaining balance on it so I just left it there for someone else to use.

I own and operate rental properties in Sandbridge, and use wash land at Hill Top for my weekly laundry of linens for three houses. The store is always clean, well managed and maintained, and the manager, Jamie, is terrific to work with. She’s very helpful, friendly, and always available to answer questions and provide assistance when needed.

I recommend, and will continue to recommend, Wash Land.
