I have washed at this laundromat for years and never have an issue until now. I recently washed my clothes one evening and I was waiting for my clothes to finish in the dryer because I knew it was close to closing time. After my clothes were finished drying, I rushed back in to get them. I immediately noticed that my clothes were stained with some black residue. I know for a fact that nothing was left in my pockets that could have caused this problem so I knew it came from the washer or the dryer. I was so distracted and upset by this that I forgot to get my clothes out of the second dryer. By the time I realized that I had left my other clothes in the dryer, it was too late because the laundromat had already closed. I waited until the next morning to go back up to the laundromat to retrieve the clothes that I had left in the dryer. Unfortunately, I was told that they didn't have my items that I left. The male worker told me that when personals are left, they are supposed to bag the items, tag it and put it in the back. Here is my problem. The black lady with the dreads was working that night and I was the last customer to leave so she had to have thrown my clothes out that night, instead of doing her job and following protocol. This was costly to me and a huge inconvenience. Highly disappointed and disgusted at her level of customer service and professionalism!!!
