I love this place. The couple who runs it don't breathe down your neck and keep tobthemselves, but they are always friendly. I have been using Rainbow Laundromat since they were closer to me on 89th and Wornall. Once, I accidentally left a couple skirts and a top hanging on the wire basket and went out of town for two weeks. I came back and the lovely lady brought them over to me neatly folded. That's top notch service to me. This place is usually pretty busy, which to me is a good sign! They have enough washers and dryers to accommodate. The clothing and linens come out squeaky clean and dryers are pretty quick if you pick the right ones.

We have been going to this laundromat for years, even before they were at this location. I love it. The machines are a little pricey, but they get your clothes nice and clean. The couple who own it are very friendly. My only complaint is some of the dryers are more powerful than others. Despite that, I definitely recommend.

Anyone on here that says this place is clean and the people are friendly, is either lying or they haven't been there. Truth is...They're the worst ! The machines are ancient, it's always at least three or more washers not working as well as two or three dryers. And the ones that do, the settings are low so you have to keep feeding it quarters in hopes your clothes will eventually dry. And last but not least. The woman that works there is okay. But that old man to rude as hell ! I refuse to go there.

Only complaint is you have to have quarters. There's not an ATM or dollar changer.

Clean and well maintained. The attendant is friendly and easy to do business with. Most washers and dryers were working.

Had a plumbing issue at home and had to wash some towels and blankets. The employees/owners are very helpful and friendly and keep the place clean and organized. So grateful for their generosity and customer service.

It has been a long time since I have been treated so rudely in a place of business. The gentleman at the laundromat on Sunday, April 22nd, whom I believe to be the owner, was incredibly rude and cantankerous when my machine quit working. He was quick to blame me for the problem. Prior to that, I observed him acting similar to another customer.

I did laundry weekly for 10 years with the folks at Rainbow. Moved through several locations, but same owners, same quality attention and kindness. I finally got my own machines and only went in to Rainbow with large items or for emergencies for the next 10 years. Have not had a laundry problem in several years,, but my washer is broken now. I needed to do laundry and I was pleased to find Rainbow still open, with the same hardworking and pleasant owners! I have never seen any of the alleged rude behavior or poorly working washers or dryers referred to in these reviews.. At least one of the owners is always present, and they never stop cleaning! The atmosphere is safe and pleasant, as the owners keep a close watch on things. I feel safe at Rainbow and will continue to use them when I have the need. I highly recommend this Laundromat!
