It's clean and well-maintained. I was able to wash 4 king-sized comforters in 1 washer and it only took 1 run through the dryer and they were completely dry. I will return when l need to wash them in the future. I came in after work on a Monday and it took me about an hour and 15 minutes to complete.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I had to go to a laundromat, so I was expecting a very different experience. Right away, Smart Laundry surprised me—in the best way. The fact that it’s open 24 hours already feels like a win, and I walked into a space that was clean, bright, and very well organized.

I didn’t get to take many pictures because there were other people there and I wanted to respect their privacy, but I will say the space is much bigger than I expected once you step inside. They really made great use of the entire space, and it never felt cramped, even with multiple people washing at the same time.

I was fully prepared to hunt for a change machine like in the old days, but there are no coins here. Instead, you purchase a reloadable card (minimum $10) and simply tap to pay at the machines, which made everything incredibly easy. They also have TVs, snacks, music, and even laundry products available if you need them, which really adds to the overall convenience.

A young man who worked there came in shortly after I did. While I didn’t interact with him directly, I noticed him helping other customers and making sure everything stayed neat and organized, which I appreciated.

The machines did a great job getting my clothes clean and dry, and I really loved how customizable the cycles were. You can choose a heavy-duty wash, a normal wash, or add extra rinses depending on what you need. Whether you come to the laundromat often or rarely, it’s very easy to navigate.

One random thing that stood out to me: growing up, I hated going to the “wash house” (as my mom called it) because it was always hot, loud, and miserable. That wasn’t the case here. Yes, it got a little warm, but I was never uncomfortable. I sat, read my book, laughed with a few other patrons, and went about my day without stress.

I probably won’t need to return anytime soon, but if I ever do, I wouldn’t think twice about coming back to Smart Laundry. Clean, convenient, and a surprisingly great vibe.
