So today I was visiting speed queen . I come here once a week. So today I came and I needed change to wash the lady with blonde curly hair shaved on the side( i asked her name and she refused to tell me)said she didn't have singles so I asked could I get a ten dollar bill. Then in comes a guy she know she just started carrying on conversation with this guy and completely ignored me so had to drive to the gas station just to get changed to wash when I come back the smaller washer I need ed were filled so I had to wait . So now I'm late for work . So thanks alot speed queen.

Thank you for your review! We are a cashless laundry for customer and employee safety-- therefore, we have a limited amount of cash on hand to help those customers that run low on dollar bills, or first time customers that bring in loose change.
You can add value to your Laundry card with a debit or credit card. And with your registered card you never lose your money. We are sorry that this was an inconvenience to you. Please stop by and see the store manager so we can discuss the issue with you further.

Horrible place to wash your clothes the laundry attendant have a awful real bad attitude towards the customers that washing machine and dryer took my money charge for me for loads I didn't wash just low life workers that work there the workers is lazy

Been here a few times before, staff had been friendly, helpful, no issues with machines. Tonight was an entirely different story. I came in and loaded my card up with 7.40 from my bank card, I had a balance already of 3.60 went and put my clothes and soap in one of the machines, put my card in, picked my cycle, went to another machine to wash a single item, card said I didn't have enough left for the $3.45 so I went back to the card loader and from my bank loaded 6 more dollars. Went back to the machine, started it up and went outside to sit in my car.
Half an hour later came in to put my clothes in the dryer and the larger machine, $5.65, hadn't washed my clothes.
I had to call out for a while for the attendant as he was off sitting in one of the chairs instead of at the counter. He took my card put it in the card loader and told me I never started the machine, and I hadn't had enough money on my card, it only showed 10 transactions, and not where I had loaded 7.40 which is when I pulled up my bank account and showed I had paid.
The man kept arguing, and arguing with me, and told me repeatedly he was going to give me back my money, kept walking to the register, than walking away. I literally had to put more money onto my card so I could wash my clothes, as he never refunded me my money and kept giving me a hard time.
After I loaded my card for a third time, started the machine again, I went outside to my car, where he followed me and again kept telling me he was going to return my money but never did.
Going back in the morning and speaking to management, this was ridiculous, $11.35 to wash one load in the medium machine.
Bad service, bad machine, bad experience.

First, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback at Speed Queen Laundry. We sincerely appreciate your business.
We did some digging to try and understand what may have happened with with your visit. After looking into it, it appears that the issues is that you have 2 different laundry cards that may have gotten mixed up. From what we can see, when you came in you had $2.60 to your first card and then added $7.40 to this card like mentioned. However, you did not use that card again after 8:10 PM and that card still has $10.00 on it.
Based on transaction history- on the second card- you came in with $1.15 on card. It looks like you tried using this card in 2 washers but did not have enough on the card. You added $6 at 8:20 pm giving you $7.15. You then started 1 washer for $3.20 leaving only $3.95- which was not enough to start your next large washer. You then added another $6.00 to start that washer and started 2 dryers.
We see where this is confusing. We recommend using just one laundry card. We are happy to transfer the balance over to just one card so this does not happen to you again. And we will go over with the employee how to show customers this information.
When you come in ask for Audrey, the Store Manager, and she will be able to combine your 2 cards and we can show you how to see all of this information as well.
