On Monday March 29 I washed and dried 3 blankets I recently purchased at the location on Oak Street in Atlanta. After using the dryer I noticed black stuff all over all 3 blankets. I made the person that was working the shift award of my issue he took my name and number and said the manager will call me when she come in the next day. The next day once I realized it was getting too late in the day and I still haven’t received a call from her I decided to call her. She told me she hadn’t called me because she was waiting on an email from corporate or whomever to see what she needed to do but they haven’t responded yet. It’s March 31st I went back up to the location the manager wasn’t there and still has yet to call me. I need for someone to call or email me or reach out to me with an answer on how this issue is going to be resolved. I just purchased these blankets this year and as of now me and my kids don’t have a blanket to keep us warm.

I love coming to these laundromats when I come in I’m a Truck Driver and they do a great job with your laundry. Depending on how much you have, you might have same dayservice and they’re very polite very accommodating and they’re quick.

My name is Lindsay McDowell. I frequently come to wash my clothing and am well acquainted with the staff because I work next door from the laundromat. Because of the location, it's a good thing that the staff has always seemed like nice people and that the place is well-organized and tidy. However, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 12:52 PM, I went to Huebsch Laundry, located at 855 Oak St. SW, Atlanta, GA 30310, and attempted to do two loads of laundry. Depending on how you want your clothes to be washed, the loads take 30 to 40 minutes to complete. I always select the "Extra Wash and Extra Dry" option. I returned at 2:00 PM to finish drying my clothing. Upon returning, I discovered that a load of my clothes had disappeared. I asked Monica, who happened to be working at the time, where my items were and if we could view the cameras. Even though we had spoken that afternoon, she seemed incredibly perplexed, acting as though I hadn't been there washing clothes. Then, she claimed that because she believed my clothing had been in there since Sunday, January 13, 2024, she had a homeless man come dispose of them two minutes before I arrived. I followed the homeless man to the dumpster where he threw my clothes, and even though I was confused, I wasn't upset because I thought maybe they had bagged them and thrown them in there. That's when I started crying, seeing all of me and my 3 year old clothing scattered in filth. I walked back inside the business and asked to speak with the owner. When I asked for the corporate number, she informed me they didn't have one. She then called the "owner" and told her that she had thrown my clothes in the trash because she thought I was someone else. The “owner” offered to rewash the clothing that the homeless man and I had taken out of the dumpster; she did not want to talk to me and still have not reached out. I never declined the offer but I was still curious about how they would handle the problem of me missing multiple items. Monica and the owner begin to laugh and tell me that my clothes are cheap and that they are not accountable for other people's clothing, etc., while I'm crying and feeling bewildered and furious. I call the police to file a report. I spoke with Officer North, who was really kind and helpful. For getting someone to come remove my clothing out of the laundry and deposit them in the dumpster, he handed Monica multiple fines and tickets. Officer North requested the “owner" of the business to come to the business so he could review the security cameras, but she refused to come on her day off. Then he questioned, "Where is it written in the policy that you can tell a homeless man that they can throw people's clothes in the dumpster?" That’s when They started acting disrespectfully and laughing after they failed to respond. I am a single mother pursuing a full-time degree in medicine to become a certified physician assistant and currently a licensed insurance agent. I put a lot of effort into protecting my possessions, so I was shocked to learn that this had occurred. The officer said, "They have a court date in April that I should attend since they are at fault and that I have more than enough evidence to take them to civil court or to sue the business." I hope this review reaches upper management and that the woman posing as the owner is not the genuine one. This establishment broke the law, and even though they acknowledged their error, they still refuse to replace the missing clothing, won't reimburse me for the money I paid to have my clothes washed, and never washed the clothes they threw in the dumpster.

Nice atmosphere, professional, very nice staff. Free WiFi and iPads to keep the children busy. Very clean and nice looking place, free wash day as of February 21 2018 11am-7pm. I normally don’t write reviews but this review was worth it. Come here.

I'm guilty of prejudice. I thought this laundry mat was going to be hood. I just needed to wash some blankets so I said whatever and went in.
I was so wrong! The place was super clean, up to date washers and dryers and the staff was friendly!
I would definitely recommend this laundromat to anyone.

I'd give it 5 stars except we need to get people off the folding tables.
I'm trying to fold clothes and people got their food, children and their butt's on the tables.
