First visit there and I was impressed! It was very clean and had a lot of machines. Eric was working and was so nice, very knowledgeable and willing to help explain how to operate the machines and advised which machine/cycle I should use! He also helped me with downloading the app and explaining how to use it :) 10/10 would recommend this place and will be back for all my laundering needs!

This was my 1st time coming to WaveMAX. I googled the best laundromats near me. WaveMAX came up 1st. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by Christina. She stopped what she was doing and helped me. She gave me a little tour and explained how the machines worked. I appreciated her help. The place was also spotless! …even the bathroom! Christina offered me coffee too. The machines are up to date. They are affordable and you won’t spend a lot of time there. The machines are quick. I had a nice experience and Christina needs to be recognized for her patience, her friendliness and hardwork. I’ll definitely be back.

I went for the second time to WaveMax in CLT and met Danielle who was so helpful from my phone calls beforehand to my gazillion questions while there about payments, downloading the app for the free $20 promo & which machines were best for my laundry. Her customer service on the phone & in person was what an owner would want as a representation of a company! I saw her interact with other customers in the same way. She deserves accolades for her excellent work! She also deserves a raise! 🤑

Machines are plentiful, but staff is never there on time. The washers and dryers should be dusted off at the top the dust is really thick, not good for allergies 🤧 …

UPDATE: It took a week and a half to get my items back. Maybe even two. Majority of my clothes were damaged either with stains from sitting so long or with holes! I also have clothes that’s missing for example my cheer coach shirt! I’ve tried to reach out and no one will respond to me. I do not recommended using their drop off method!!!

My washer has been down so I’ve taken a couple of trips to wavemax. Like someone else mentioned, I pass other laundromats because this one is more welcoming and cleaner. Not to mention pricing is pretty good.
The reason for the 3 star is because I on August 19th I decided to use the drop off service. I asked the Caucasian woman with locs if it would be an issue because I had a big drop off order. She said it would be fine and I paid over $200. My clothes were not ready on the date given on the receipt so I called and was told by someone over the phone who was very unpleasant to speak with that they haven’t even started my order yet. This call was last night, August 22nd. If I’m paying over $200 and my kids school is about to start back with necessary undergarments needed in those loads then I expect the time to be honored. If it was too much that could have been stated and I would’ve just washed them on my own… definitely way less then what I paid.
My only feedback and I know it’s hard these days, but better staffing with customer service skills that will honor customers time, money spent and their own job role.
