On vacation from New York and missed the laundromat by minutes. Asked Siri to find a laundry that was still open at 8pm, and she found Northtryonlaundromat. Upon entering this place I must say it was immaculate!! Machines, floors, dryers....Everything was spotless and sanitized 🙌 (During Covid19 8-24-20)The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall I must say my experience with this particular laundry was an A+. I shall return again next visit. Until then,stay Blessed and please stay safe! Your new friends, Mr.& Mrs.Bryant from NYC
It tends to be a little busy. But the prices are fair, the place is clean and the management is amazing and really on top of things. Plus take card machines take card and change.
This place is great. Always clean and staff is kind and helpful! I wouldn’t go anywhere else in university area for laundry!
The machines also have card readers if you don’t carry cash like me. SUPER convenient!

It was ok. Clean. One washer (5.25) didn’t wash my clothes properly. Didn’t suds up, water didn’t penetrate the load. Made sure not to overstuff. Had to rewash elsewhere. Pricing was ok. Dryers give you 30 m. Made sure to be mindful not to put too much in because I didn’t have time to keep redrying. My efforts were in vain, had a load worth of things not dry, had to redry. Also, it was not easy getting to laundromat, zero parking by the entrance. It’s in a shopping plaza, in the middle of a lot of busy businesses. Parking was a semi nightmare for washing a lot of clothes. I had a ton of things to wash and because of the bulk decided to wait for a better spot. Probably won’t go back. I’ll stick to laundry mats that are in stand alone spots where all parking is aligned with the front entrance. Small gripe but major difference in overall experience. If you have small loads, not a lot to carry its better for that need. I was also expecting bigger machines. They have 6 huge industrial dryers, they could benefit from a couple industrial sized washers. The machines for 5.25 were at best double load size. The 3.25 machines were akin to a single load. Other laundry mats have at least two humongous, more expensive machines that hold a lot more than this locations largest. Also beware using your card at machines. As they processed the transactions the next day my card went nuts, it would overdraft, then go back to normal, it cycled like this for abt 4hrs. It created an issue using card next day when I was shopping. Huge inconvenience. They have an atm, change machine. Use coins instead.
As the business owner I am there every Sunday all day from 7am-9pm for the very reason that it is our busiest day. I try and tell new customers that midweek is best not only for parking but the laundry experience as well. The laundromat is always attended to assist our customers, at one point we had five attendants yesterday to help ease the customer experience. I only wish that you would've approached me to try and rectify the situation.
As you mentioned in your comments it is very important not to overstuff the machines, whether washers or dryers. Clothes need space inside the machines to be able to move and tumble, otherwise it makes a big ball of laundry that just goes round and round, without water or air able to penetrate the clothes.
Clothes need space in the washer to 1) let water penetrate and 2) tumble and loosen dirt and grime.
Dryers dry clothes by not only allowing heat to reach the fabrics, but by also allowing air to flow through the fabric to allow for evaporation.
Suds are not always an indication of a good wash, some detergents are formulated to not create suds for environmental reasons.
Size of the machines do not matter if they are not used properly.
Parking I have no control over, the landlord could care less, but my wife and I do try hard to provide the best customer experience for such a mundane task of washing clothes, as other reviewers can attest.

The place was super clean, plenty of washers and dryers, and I didn’t need quarters because the machines took your credit card! But best of all the employees where so kind and helpful.
